This is so important. Implementing that storytelling/personality aspect to your communication can really tighten up the relationship with your audience (not to mention all the other benefits that come with it! 💸) Thank you Alex for this video 💙
You know Alex, I find your email strategies interesting in the sense that most big companies don't tend to want to go this route, it seems to me that this whole "storytelling" seems to only work for personal, individuals or small personal brands... but not for the larger companies, specially e-commerce or anything that is more consumer based. I think businesses are the onces that need more convincing for copywriters to be able to write more stuff like this. I think engaging emails are definitely more enjoyable, but unfortunately big companies simply DONT do this, but they should!!
Great insights on the power of storytelling in email marketing. For entrepreneurs leveraging this, remember that customer success stories are gold mines for content. They not only demonstrate value but also build trust through relatable experiences. Keep it authentic and results-driven for maximum impact.
Wow! Great speech, great voice! Alex Cattoni looks beautiful in this video. I like her voice. This is the first time I watch a video of hers, I found it about 30 minutes. Congratulations for your work on RUclips
Hey Alex, I don't know if you are going to read this but I have been following you for a while I am a broke college student and find your content very helpful in my copywriting journey I just wanted to ask you will these stories work in cold emailing or not? please reply
It depends on how you use your stories. You definitely want to connect with your prospect human-to-human, but keep in mind they might not want to read a very long cold email. What's more important when it comes to cold emailing is that you grab their attention in the first few seconds and demonstrate how you know their pain-point and can provide a solution. Check out this video I did with Stefan Georgi on cold emailing: ruclips.net/video/byzJewpGOBI/видео.htmlsi=9ACnLlSfAwnzS8Zi
The vedio was really amazing. But i have a question you told about storytelling and then adding your point (services or products etc). The question is how to do it if English is your second language and you haven't mastered English yet then how can we write emails like you wrote?
You can totally do it! Check out this video on how Reem, a non-native English speaker, built her own copywriting agency 👉 ruclips.net/video/6uvgSjksV4E/видео.htmlsi=oFRbr5YcVut4bqpv
She is talking about story, but Spoonfeeding us with Facts after Facts related to Storytelling. 😂😂. Just kidding, These are awesome knowledge and insights that you've shared with us.
Great video,Alex! I have a question related to Facebook Ads..I offer a variety of family gifting products, including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day gifts, gifts for sons, granddaughter, goddaughter, gifts from baby bump, and graduation gifts on my Shopify store. Each gift box contains a necklace and a thoughtful message card, priced between $40 to $90, including shipping. I exclusively sell to customers in the USA. Should I opt for broad targeting or interest targeting? The interests I am thinking to target include Macy’s, Nordstrom, engaged shoppers, online shopping, gifts, and flowers, all relevant to potential gift buyers.

Use internet news sources, social media, personal experiences, and consumer feedback to gather compelling stories for your emails. These stories can help you connect with your audience on a deeper level while also making your emails more engaging.
Eh, I wouldn't hire you with that English @gamerslife_20 Whoever convinced these folks you can earn a living writing without knowing how to write correctly?
Alex, I am a storyteller. I am a mom as well as an author for some children's books. I love making stories and connecting it to anything... But thr problem is I am not that fluent in English!! I am an Indonesian and English is my second language.😢😢😭😭😭😭 When I write stories in English, it doesn't flow as good as yours! It had the 'stiff' kind of vibe! 😞😞😞 I am actually learing email marketing and want to try English-speaker market (because email marketing for Indonesian market is very cheap!) What can I do, Alex? Help😢😢
I hear you! We've had students from all over the world, many whose first language isn't English become successful copywriters. It takes a lot of practice, but it's totally doable! You got this! ⚡️

If we had the chance to shape a private community with Alex, what would you want it to include? Let's share our wishlist below!
So, in this video, you showed us first a story and then the facts.
Maybe the second part should have been avoided?...😊
