on my opinion. casio has more realistic sound and yamaha has something like artificial sound but its nice though. both are nice, it just matter if you like the more realistic sound or artificial beautiful sound.

I work in a keyboard shop and we sell about as many units of each keyboard. Ctk 4400 is nearly always preferred by people in-store whereas the PSR eE343 sells better on-line. For me personally it's the Casio every time!

intasoundmusic Thank you so much for that useful piece of info. But can you tell me more on why people prefer Casio over Yamaha? Because I have a Casio myself and I'm thinking of switching over to Yamaha. You're advice on what I should buy will be very helpful.
Rebecca karen casio is cheaper than yamaha, in terms of features it packs, casio has got different models for your budget; that is why it gets sold quickly. Yamaha does pack in lesser features, but its voice quality is superior over Casio. Even in EP section, Yamaha has got the lead over Casio.
@@AnupamEnosh I have to disagree with that, the only thing Yamaha has Casio beat in are the piano sounds, every other sound is Casio all the way
I own a 10 year old yamaha keyboard in that price range, as well as a S90XS lol, and I can guarantee you without a doubt #1 is the Yamaha. It sounds like the pianos Yamaha has been "sampling" and wave generating for years. #1 is the winner by far. I like the higher notes when played softly on #2, tho I'm sure both sound rough with more velocity.. but #1 is far more dynamic sounding overall.

Personally I liked number 2 because it had less of a whiny synthy sound.
Yamaha has a distinct lower range. And I'm pretty sure number 1 is Yamaha

Does the PSR-E343 have touch sensitivity (where light touches gives you lighter sound?) I've read it does, and I've read it doesn't. Everything I've read says the casio has it.

I think #1 is YAMAHA and #2 is CASIO. I was rating the melodies through the 5 rounds, I found that #1 wins first, third and fourth rounds. #2 wins second and fifth.

The piano 1 is better. The piano 2 is very high and don't have definition like the 1. I believe that piano 1 it's a Casio Ctk 4200, right ?

Hi allan mangayo, it has been a year now, I've already bought PSR E 433. it has almost the same specs as that of E343. Except 433 has dj knobs and pitch bend wheel, but overall, 343 is a good choice as well if you are planning to go for it. Yamaha will always be better that Casio, for my opinion,. sound quality, built, user friendliness,etc.
