Don't forget to clean and apply some lubricate to the metal slide plates/linear rails on the left and right of the z axis rod. Also it's okay to leave lubricant on the z rod as well just to make sure it's more plentiful, a little build up will smooth itself out over time with repeated lifts.
nice choice of music. lol
Like for the RS music mate

Your z axis screw is covered in black grease. It’s possible the motor is jacked
Hey buddy how do you remove the screw that keeps the bat attached to the printer?
Intriguing!
this didn't work. Any ideas, now it is making the grinding noise as it goes up and down now.
THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT NOT TO DO
Whys that fixed my problem.
Why?
I don't see anything wrong except not covering the screen. Also the dry lubrication is supposed to be best. I'm still using the liquid 3 in 1 ptfe one
You do kinda need to provide a reason otherwise these are just ominous words floating out in space.
