Wait if I go and use my credit card to pay and use the gift card to pay the rest do I have to show the membership card because I’m gonna use my dads cash back
What is what if you have both executive and citi card. When o use it do they accumulate cash back separately or just one of them 🤔.. And if you get a check back on executive why citi don't do that.. I know you could see them both on the app 😅
They are separate rewards. You'll accumulate 2% thought the executive membership and get that check 60 days before your membership renewal. The Citi Visa reward gets sent to everyone in February whenever their statement closes. You can see how much you've accumulated in their respective apps
If you're curious, you'll hit that $1000 yearly limit only after you spend $50,000/yr at costco. I assume a very small percentage of Costco shoppers actually run into that limit.
I don't get why it's breaking even when you have to spend $120 for an executive membership to qualify for the 2% cash back. So $60 is not breaking even, it's only half of your membership. So if you get the normal membership you don't have to worry about the cash back certificate once a year.
It's breaking even because you're spending the same as the gold star membership but you get extra benefits aside from the 2% also if you get a check for $65 you're now paying less money a year than those who don't have the executive.
Girlfriend had $135.00 due in rewards and got a $60.00 check in the mail with highest membership. She called and they said too bad, that’s all your getting. Nice.
They can easily pull up your shopping history if you think there is a mistake. A multi-billion dollar company is not going to try to pull a fast one on you! 😂 Also, I can say this because I worked there for 25 years.
2% cash back isn't enough = you didn't spend enough in Costco annually. Buy some more toilet paper in bulk, buy some more TVs and laptops, travel 100 miles daily and fuel up at costco gas station weekly etc. Get the executive + Citi Card and start spending weekly in Costco whenever you received their brochure of discounts.
Thanks for video! It clarified a lot of my questions! See you at Costco!
Really enjoy Costco. Great company and same for employees.
When do the checks go out? Also if i were to downgrade to a gold star membership will i still be able to use a gold star membership at gas stations?
The checks get sent out 8 weeks before your expiration date.
And yes, you can still use the gas station with the gold star membership :)

Does Costco give you cash back if you receive a 200 check?
A Great company with worst possible IT infrastructure. the CTO must be ashamed of himself!!
Lol. That's is most major companies. Even tech companies.
Why do you say that? Many companies use the iSeries.
