1x cranks like the senicx crankset have a chainline of ~49.7mm. This works for 142mm thru axle or 135mm qr but rim brake road bikes have 130mm qr. The chainline for those is usually 43.5mm. I have used a 104mm bcd spider on then used spacers on the chainring bolts to get the chainring further inwards. This might mess up the shifting due to the increased cross chaining.
the Senicx PR2or PR3 cranks have a 43,5mm chain line for road bikes. The crank used for the bike in the video is the GR2 (for gravel bikes) with a chain line of 49,7mm.

3:07 brilliant. The groupset will change everything. In our local race event, ex-national rider win the race by using 400usd frameset, lightweight rims and duraace di2. Maybe enough with winspace hyper.
CHECK THE HANGER TO SEE IF SHIFTING IS OFF. Also, move the levers up and torque just below max.. it won’t break. Adjust the spacers on the crank to fix chain line too. It’s likely 73mm she’ll chainline and not 68mm chainline
Maybe it’s BB spacers fault? In my bike I had to swap spacers from recommended two on left side and one on right to the other way around so I could have “usable” chain line, but I use 1x8 so chain line is still silly as hell.
I hope SENSAH keep evolving the product and we end up with another decent option at mid tier around the 2300g mark for under 1000 monies (R7000 105 here is that). Snap. Py. Not want you want to hear riding a cheap carbon frame.💥
What sect wears the St Peters cross?
enjoyed watching that, sorry you all had to suffer for my enjoyment...interesting pursuit of the non 'reputable' end of the market...interesting also because its become too expensive to test a veriety equipment to find the right fit..
throw a DAG on the derailleur hanger. It isn't uncommon for that part to come out of true.
How are Pickle and Jimmi in the same vid? I thought we'd agreed they are in fact the same person? Better not let them touch, could create a singularity or something and doom us all.
Is the derailleur hanger straight? Many frames arrive new with bent hangers
It indeed arrived with a bent hanger but we straightened it.
Bike tweaks I'm sure will follow up in a future video🤞, felt a bit sorry for you guys in those "moisture" 🌧 ridden downpours!
The Deraileur Hanger might not be aligned
Oh man UK weather
Why would you wear black on a rainy/misty day ?
Haha. Do you two never check a weather forecast before going on a ride. 🤷♂️😂😂
Elves bikes are cheaper direcly from their website, from what I've seen 🧐 any reason to buy them at Ali ?
Don't quote me on this, but I think AliExpress hold your payment so if something does happen and your order doesn't turn up then you can get a refund more easily.
@@Cade_Media good point !
Wearing black in full weather. Far more stupid than buying off Alliexpress.
Jimmy!
Jeanne-Michael!!!!
😁
The moment I saw this, I clicked to watch it. I cant wait to see what happens with the ali express bike.
Not really AliExpress as it’s available directly from the manufacturer who have a good reputation
You know what Francis means. I’m using it similarly. No need to be pedantic, friend.
@@Relevant_Irrelevance only pointing out they are available direct and not solely an AliExpress frame. I bought my Elves direct and very happy with it. The finish is as good if not better than a frame costing 4x as much.
@@Relevant_Irrelevance I too am interested to see how the build goes as Francis is one of the very few who’s letting the genie out of the bottle. Trace Velo and China Cycling are interesting channels to watch
@@TheTrev53 Love Trace Velo's videos. He's made me want a Sensah.
Carbon-specific rim brake pads work just fine on my Lun wheels. So for me, ”carbon wheels and rim brakes don’t stop in the rain” is a myth. Of course if you’re using non-specific pads...
You're lucky. I've scared myself pretty bad on wet roads with carbon wheels. On branded campagnolo wheels...
@@pierrex3226 I think pads and brake tracks have come a long way recently.
@@GrahamB29 what brake pads do you use?
@@pierrex3226 The pads from Lun/Winspace atm.
@@GrahamB29 wow nice. They're usually trash those standard pads. Good for you!
