it is 22:34 the night before the exam. Have i revised? Of course not. I place my future in the hands of the almight estruch. I will follow your biology guides to the end of the world. Please, almighty estruch give me your knowledge. It is 10.25 hrs away and all i know is circumfernce is pi x diameter. I am so screwed, almighty estruch.
Is it weird that I'm kinda looking forward to Paper 3? I feel like I'm so ready for the essay. Paper 2 has been kinda annoying because I've been having to juggle psych and bio at the same time and I always suck at that.
I thought paper 2 was tomorrow for a sec!! Also I find that when bullet pointing I miss marks due to overly specific mark schemes so I tend to write down all the key words to be safe
i don't know if this will help anyone but if there is a question that you do not understand straight away just leave it and come back to it at the end, I found when I don't understand it straight away it causes me to panic and I waste a lot of time trying to understand the question when I can't actually focus on it because of the panicking! i tried this in the last exam that I did and I understood the questions far more easily and I had plenty of time to answer them at the end! i just thought i'd share in case it helped some panicky people like me! good luck everyone!! :D
@@MissEstruchBiology I was struggling with time on paper 1 but with paper 2 not only did I save a ton of time but reviewing my answers was far easier as I could pinpoint where the allocated marks would be - I know I said it already but really thank you I'm actually looking forward to paper 3 now💪
biology is my 4th a level and i only need A*A*A for my offer, so biology been getting the backseat compared to further maths, maths and physics. im really not looking forward to paper 2 or 3, i simply haven't done enough revision for it
Quick question, I don’t want to sound daft but can we actually highlight the text in the exam? I have head people say that we can’t as the appears won’t be scanned. I am just a bit unsure I do t want to self sabotage by bringing in a highlighter

Hi Miss, thanks for the vid. I was just wondering which papers people usually get higher grades on? As paper 2 is more application heavy - do people generally find it more challenging?
I’m so confused- looking through past papers for OCR A and there don’t seem to be big 15 markers at the end. Is this about a different board or did they tell us in advance we will get a 15 marker ?

@@anon5974 No problem! I also used the exam practice workbook by CGP for Biology. And kinda, the paper was kinda similar to the past papers but also not the same at the same time as questions change over time. In class, I had gotten a A few times before but I mostly got B’s and Cs.

The problem with essay is it's very easy to lose marks. you can still get an A* with 15/25 though

do people generally drop the most marks on paper 3 , is paper 3 generally seen as the hardest of the 3 papers ?
Do you think the application question will be based on Homeostasis?
comprehension question*

hey that list was only relevant for exams 2022. It was the advanced information list
Hi Miss, thanks for the vid. I was just wondering which papers people usually get higher grades on? As paper 2 is more application heavy - do people generally find it more challenging?
Often people find paper 1 hardest for some reason. There isn't usually much difference across the papers though in marks
@@MissEstruchBiology wow that’s interesting I thought the complete opposite due to the lack of application questions
I have less than 24 hrs 😭😭😭😭

What does she mean by topic list?
that was specific to 2022
