I wish hip hop like this would make a comeback. Until then, I’ll just keep listening to these classics from the 90s to early 2000s. Verrrry rarely do any of these new “rappers’” music appeal to me in the slightest. I’m stuck in the 90s, which is fine, cuz it was the golden era of music
Hip hop returned to its origin, underground. Plenty of artists like this making dope music, fuck the mainstream you don't want hip hop back there it didn't belong
Man he really is. One of the only MC's that bested Eminem on his own song for a change (Remember Me) he's got dope lyrics, flow, voice, really the full package, but Onyx was just too hardcore to go mainstream like their contemporaries
2023 people still not ready for this shit. Their influence is underrated as fuck. You still got big love boys I will never stop, your words will pass through my sons and my bloodline. Love & GOD bless
Temples of Boom by Cypress Hill is amazing and dark too. One of my fav albums ever. I like also Doomsday by Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. (with maybe not such dark beats but badass as well).
Taiquan Martin hip hop doesn’t get much respect outside the hip hop world. Music heads see thru that genre crap. I like a lot of types of music. Onyx is respected by their peers no doubt .
This song is very technical. So much emotion... Not positive but real as real can be. Name a song in 2020 that could play after playing this?... I'll wait.
One of the top ten Hip Hop albums of all time.
the production on this album is really dark and good.
8 Off The Assassin on the beats.
@@deezy81 He co-produce just a few tracks for the album and help out with the mixing, the majority of the tracks was produced by fedro and sticky.
Chyskillz produced mostly on the 1st album. Just as dark.
Son see was a animal on the whole album the production on this was krazy
