I have some Eastern bluebird babies in a nest box in my yard now. They are beautiful birds. The mountain bluebird is such a gorgeous shade of blue!

I get a hybridized mountain blue bird in my Albuquerque backyard on occasion. He is a beautiful blue grey and I wish he would leave me a feather.

Great job on the three varieties of Bluebirds. O always look forward to seeing the Eastern Bluebird at a place that had many boxes for them but alas this year they took many of them down and I wasn't able to see them. I'll have to find a new area to look for them.

I've seen mountain bluebirds in western Nebraska. The eastern bluebird is common throughout Alabama.

Central New Mexico is one of the few places where all three can be found. I have seen them all in Bernalillo County.

Gorgeous! Where I am, there's not really a lot of meadow-like land. Lots of logging here, and lots of places where even when they've cut down a swath of trees they almost immediately replant. Long leaf pine and coastal pine are FAST growing trees, too, so they tend to take over any given empty spot within a year. We do still see Eastern Bluebirds here, but it's so rare that we kind of get excited over it, heh!

Timely video, thanks! I was fortunate enough to see all 3 in the past month - Western and Mountain on a visit to Bend, Oregon and the Eastern here at home in Ontario. It’s nice to see your channel picking up steam!

I don't think anyone is going to disagree with that, especially if you've seen them in person, absolutely stunning electric blue
