What is the black thing between frame platform and the glass frame? Some kind of rubber? Why you use that instead direct contact from frame to platform and welded it.

The Company that will make the glass for me told me that 15mm thick glass will be strong enought for this kind of frame but I decided to glue 19mm thick- it must be an extra strong aquarium for many many years..:)

the frame after welding wasnt perfectly straight so I gave 20mm soft foam between platform and frame

Hi, the bottom will be glue from 7 parts ~128x84cm
MrJack why 128cm? 2cm space for silicone or what? The total width is 130cm. Sorry for asking to much. And dont forget to videoing the process.. 😀😀
Exactly it will be 126cm (glass lenght). The fame is made from L-profile with 8mm thick wall and I want to leave 24mm for silicone

the frame which has to be directly in contact with glass is IRON or Stainless steel
All frame was made from stainless steel 304.

Yes, 19mm thick glass- but it will be done by the professional aquarium company
