- Last of this years spring fishing and as they say far to many times I have saved the best till last, this session really does illustrate how one bite can change everything. Swan is a very hard pressured day ticket water and is known for been a real headbanger, this session is no exception to this but a great example of piecing the jigsaw together. As always I cover the watercraft for whats faced in front of me and my thought process to whats happening, bait application been key to success on this occasion. I also cover my rigs in more detail as requested by some of the viewers.

Awesome mate, enjoyed that. Well done. Been years since I fished there, only done 4 trips, twice on kingy and twice on swan, had 4 fish, first tune on kingy I had a bug set 25lb 12oz common, second trip I took a 33lb 1 oz common off the surface, when every other angler blanked all seemed fishing the bottom.
Had a blank on swan first time, then the second trip on swan which was my fourth trip on the complex I had a 33lb 4 oz common, and a 31lb mirror the next day ! I was buzzed.
They are both great waters I'd like to spend a bit more time down there just wish it want so busy all the time! 🤣 but with any water holding carp like them it's going to be like that int it. I shall head back there soon I do love the place

Many thanks mate really appreciate the kind comments. To honest for my own good sometimes lol but yes I totally love our sport and I get great satisfaction from making the videos there to many big egos out there and that's what I'm not about keep it real and enjoy each day. We are not here forever that's my motto :-)

I've been looking for quite a few years now to lease and Lake to run as a fishery but I've really struggled to find anything they are like gold dust lol wish I had to money to buy one lol

Nice one bud both them fish have bin moved from mallard lake and the 35 common old matey had to nice to see there still putting on steady wait
I knew that small one was but I want sure about the other. I think them old Originals are slowly dwindling now :-( the two tone common was found dead last week my mate nick really wanted that one that was his target. I'm certainly going to have a few sessions on there tho between other places. Thanks again Gaz ;-)

I won't be on swan much but will always be going when it's prime time for the big girls they are old now and fading away. Awesome place tho every lake has something special I just wish I want a weekend angler as I'd defo get a ticket for that place
