Happy New Year, Renee I saw the episode with you and Taco. It was nice of him to share it with you. Good health to you and your family. Cheers, Rik Spector
With your help Renee, Taco should be on the lookout for larger sized ( like this 10x10) storage units to buy. For 1 person... THIS would have been a LOT of work... and not as much fun. Each person has a different wealth of knowledge on certain items to know what it is worth or worth saving.... especially when digging thru random boxes like these. Taco knows his Sports stuff and tools... but some of the toys and random boxes with nick-nacks...you know what to save. The two of you together though make a good Team. The advantage with buying the larger Units together is that many times they are cheaper than the smaller 5x5's AND you get twice as much stuff to find treasures. Many people won't bid on these larger Units because they don't have the vehicle to clean them out. Or just see too much work. Win for both of you. Hope to see more of these larger storage unit buys in the future. Plus larger units mean more than 1 video posting.. win.. win. " You never KNOW what you are going to find "
Exactly Richard! It was work to clean out the unit but fortunately the furniture wasn't that large/cumbersome (such as large hutches or complete bedroom sets). We are hoping for more units in the future!
@@PaperandMoose Did you receive a gmail from me about a week ago. Are they still going to Spam... plus I had to start using new email with new computer. This will probably sound silly. But having been a painter/remodeling contractor in a former life, I’m most impressed with the Cabinets behind you. I’ve worked in a lot of old homes and I don’t think I’ve seen cabinets with the small drawers on the bottom. Being from St Louis, the home of Budweiser , the cast wagon and horses look like The Clydesdales. I use to have one very similar as a kid. Fun video.
Miller studio fish sell very well. They're chalk ware. Make sure to comp them. And the tea bag holders are very very collectable. They will bring a lot of money. They're rare and hard to find in good condition.
I love to collect those tea bag holders and I have several of the China tea "brewers", don't know what they are called, but quite old. My fried , her mom, and I had high tea the Thursday before Christmas. Her husband dropped us and picked us up. It was absolutely delightful!! I've been making my tea in a tea pot since then. I have MANY tea pots. Always enjoy your videos. Happy new year. 🥰❤

This was fun and interesting. ☺ I've always wondered if anyone who lost their storage unit, and had it auctioned off, ever just happened to come across someone on RUclips revealing the contents. They'd be like, "Hey that's my stuff". 😮
I started to say that you are probably correct about the envelope with the drawing coming from someone incarcerated. If one of the inmates was artistic, the other inmates may have traded their commissary items in exchange for them drawing on the envelopes they sent letters to home in. I have several with drawings that my late ex-husband had sent when he was incarcerated.

Renee I sold a set of the tea holders w caddy for $120 on Etsy. Probably about a year ago. That’s a great find. They weren’t selling for that much on eBay, but I knew they had the right look for Etsy.
Thank you for another awesome video! You could look up the inmate by his #, return address on the envelope had it, using the BOP site. It looked like everything was packed away neatly, on purpose. Usually the storage units with stuff just thrown in, including food, are from quick moves or things like evictions. Incredible stuff, not to mention your cool ceramic Christmas tree next to the amazing cabinets!

Love the Tea Bag Holder Set, just what you need for your tea bags!! The Blues Band Harmonica sells on eBay from $2 to $20 depending on how old it is (more than likely a Flea Market item). Renee, love the collaboration with Taco Stacks. I think the porcelain head with the holes is for hat pins, not salt & pepper
Good thinking never thought of hat pins That makes more sense than a shaker for powdered sugar
She's worth some money if they put it on EBay. The tea plates would be too.
Yes hat pins, back when all women wore hats and used pins to keep them on.
Yes, it is.
Yes hat pins for sure!
