    Oh my gosh, Nicole! I've been researching and watching how-to videos for months. MONTHS! I finally did my first two cups over the weekend and found out I wasn't as good as I thought I was going to be. Not too bad for my very first one but you can tell I need more practice. Oh how I wish I had found you and your videos before I did my first cup. Your tutorial is the first one that actually taught me how to do a cup through the whole process. Great tips, great video! Thank you so very much! I can't wait to try my next cup and see how much better it's going to be becasue of you!
    Please make more videos!! Muah!

    Oh my gosh. This is so gorgeous. I'm just getting started in doing this tumbler stuff! I have my cup turner...but wondering... do you recommend this FX Countertop Epoxy over any other brand. I've only watched videos. Haven't actually made a tumbler yet. But I see you doing a couple of things I haven't heard about before. No one has ever mentioned the epoxy getting warm. And I've never seen a heat gun or torch used in the process. Your tumbler has turned out so, so pretty. I'm going to look into your pigments of course. And will watch other videos you have. Thanks so much for making these videos!

    Nicole, do you try to achieve a perfect or close to "line of light"?
    Being a nail tech, this is what I try to achieve when I'm applying top coat. Sometimes I might have to add just a little dollop of top coat before curing to get that perfect line of light.

    Love love absolutely adore your videos! You are very clear, easy to understand, and just plain fun to watch. Question though which I can't seem to find anywhere is are the tumblr's dishwasher safe? Do they require a different type of epoxy etc to make them dishwasher safe?

    • @judywiththegoodeye
      @judywiththegoodeye 4 года назад

      I’ve seen people say they are and others say no it all depends on the type of epoxy for example if one epoxy says it can stand the heat up to 200 degrees and if your dish washer heat is less then it could survive but I just recommend you hand wash

    Hi Nicole. First off, I think you do beautiful work and I love your website! I'm pretty local to you and its nice watching tutorials from a fellow Texas girl. I have a quick question....I did this technique on a glitter cup that was just way too loud, and my epoxy didn't even out at all so I'm left with a lumpy cup that I'll have to sand the crap out of. I've done marbles and had them come out smoothe. Any ideas on why this might've happened?

      I have severe asthma too, but I use Art Resin instead of epoxy because it's VOC and BPA free. There aren't hardly any fumes. I have no problems using this, but it is twice the price vs epoxy. Worth it for my safety and that of my family.

    A "guideline" in graphic design is to have diagonal text go from bottom to top, not from top to bottom as it has negative associations this way.
    Also, you should never stretch your type out of proportion. There's a lot of thought put into font design, the proportions, thicknesses etc and you're messing with that.
    Obviously there are always exceptions in all types of creative work! Following some general design tips can really polish your work though.
