Amazing deck techs, I always look forward to PPRs partially just for these. I need to make this deck or at least borrow ideas for my existing monored edh deck. So cool. I've always wondered if they're new precon because it's so polished before realizing it's always a brew by LRR. Wow. The skit is crazy good.
The cuts to the single words with the additional make-up and deeper spookier voice were the absolute highlight of this deck tech. Such a fantastic job!
Idk about the self burn part of the decktech solphim specifies opponents or permanents your opponents control, so burning your own stuffy doll wouldn’t amount to anything, the damage would still only double once.
I kinda miss Bag of Holding here. I am not quite sure how that interacts with Madness but getting cards back after discarding them, seems deec. And while I am at it, maybe Containment Construct is worth thinking about.
Madness and Bag of Holding are two replacement effects. One says "If you would discard a card exile it from your graveyard" and the other says "If you would discard this, discard it into exile. When you do, cast it for it's madness cost or put it into your graveyard." So if you discard a madness card it is put into exile and the bag of holding can't grab it from the graveyard. By the time the card makes it to the graveyard the bag of holding has already tried and failed to exile a card that was not there.
Gonna be honest, my first thought when it entered "skittering creature cam" was that the Simic Slaw had returned.

They only added the Phyrexian creature type in recent years, I'm sure if the Slaw got a reprint it would have the creature type.

That's the key distinction. Ben gets the Horrors, Beej gets Mad Science, and James gets "the urge to strangle everyone for causing all this to happen"
