And it will probably (and sadly) never change bcs people who talk the most about kpop are the new kpop fans and they usually go straight to the top 10 and when they come to DC it's already too late (they are full of favs already)
I don't think they are underrated, they don't have the same level of fame as other groups (BTS, BP, Twice, Itzy, etc), but they have entered Billboard, had tour in Europe and they always enter the charts, but they don't have their first win, so please support them
@@andrikfelix6507 i could agree with any other grp but honestly DC is the only gg that i can say "they deserve to be at leas top 5" without trembling. i don't want to bring war but imo, neither twice nor bp can stand in front of DC in terms of music or performance skills. sadly quality is not the first criteria of success. i like twice btw

@@shilo2972 coming of age ceremony is a song by park jiyoon that's pretty much legendary in korea so many idols have covered it, some of them (as the name suggests) as a celebration of becoming an adult ^^

Dreamcatcher is know for their dancing but all of the members are better at singing/rapping than dance, except for SuA and even her vocal level is stupidly high for a main dancer.

Yeah everyone is always like Oh Dreamcatcher there so amazing at dancing etc when in reality their vocals are wayyyyy better lol. Your right tho SuA is a better dancer but she is EASILY lead vocal material. Could even have a chance at being a main vocal in some groups...

Maybe SuA isn't the best dancer in kpop, but Dreamcatcher has *(ONE OF) THE BEST* dance line in kpop, like their lead dancer can reach 9 while the non-dancer can reaches 8+!
She is already considered one of the best dancer in 3rd gen kpop tho and i'm sure she will keep on improving her dance skills

I think Handong is a great dancer considering she only trained for 5 months prior debut. I also think a problem with Gahyeon is that she lacks self confidence on stage, when she realizes how talented she is I bet she'll kill it, she showed improvement in this recent era

agree, i think Gahyeon was not confident with her previous body shape, went through healthy exercises and Pilates, and she's about to show her new image in the upcoming comeback !

I saw her online concert clip where she cover seulgi and Irene chair dance. she really improve ALOT. her stage presence are insane, tbh she become my bias cause idk, she have those it factor quality. and recently she has those high stage presence. not only she have those stage presence and it factor, now she decide to give us slap on her vocal improvement on recent online concert, she's the sub vocalist but can easily become the lead vocalist on other group
The way Yoohyeon went from being called "the tree" during Minx days because she was the stiffest dancer and now she's top 4. We love progress.

I think Gahyeon improved A LOT during Deja vu and Scream eras, I realised that when I saw Piri fancam. She's probably still the weekest dancer in DC, but I'm sooooo proud of her ❤❤❤

They're like the best dance group analyzed here so it's not a surprise tbh lol
I seriously don’t understand why Dreamcatcher is so goddamn underrated like??? They have god vocals, god dancing (not all girl groups have choreographies as hard as theirs too), god rapping (a girl group where the rappers actually get to rap properly, that’s so rare) and their songs are actually MEANINGFUL. They also sometimes write their own lyrics! Unfortunately, not all girl groups get to have this good of a company and don’t get to show their talents that much, but Dreamcatcher is one of the best groups out there I swear!
But actually their dancing is so underrated too, I literally just- no.
Also Yubin, Byulyi and Soyeon are also my favourite female rappers (emphasis on Yubin and Byulyi)!
Simple, their style of music isn't that popular. As sad as it is, it's true. What's popular rn is EDM type of music or songs that have that "pop" feel, DC's music is more geared towards rock than pop and unfortunately that's just not what is popular rn. At least not in South Korea. It's unfortunate because I think DC is one of the most unique and talented ggs out there

i think handong really showed what she could do vocal, rap and dance wise during youth with you, i was so proud her when she showed off what she could do 🥺 i really hope people start noticing her when she comes back

Yeah. I thought Handong was in the dance Line at first and was a lead vocalist. Also dami kinda is too people forget she’s a lead dancer
Omg finally someone that doesn’t place Handong in the bottom two?! Honestly, Handong and Gahyeon have steadily improved since debut. I think Pilates is helping Gahyeon with strength and flexibility because the most recent clips of her dancing are so much better than even the ones that came out during Piri. As for Handong I think she’s really well suited to traditional or classical dance styles. I think if she works on matching her breath to her movements she’d kill it in a contemporary routine. Siyeon kills boy group covers with large movements because of her high energy and these sorts of moves don’t require much precision. I remember when they came out with their boy group cover medley people kept mistaking her for main dancer. Yoohyeon is almost Siyeon’s mirror because where Siyeon excels with “messy” dancing, Yoo is extremely precise and you can tell she works hard to perfect a routine! Dami and JiU really never disappoint. SuA has really been exceeding my expectations. A dancer that can dance AND choreograph for themselves and a group are amazing. She always nails the themes too there’s nothing she can’t do.
In conclusion, Dreamcatcher is a group of Aces. Their biggest strength as a group with dancing comes from the fact that they can all match each other perfectly in a group routine despite their differences in style individually !
Even tho she is second to last, one thing i love about Siyeon is that she has so much style while dancing. For example, how she dances Red Sun compared to the other members like she is the grudge on stage or something is so dang cool to me she really adjusts to the concept and energies of different songs

DREAMCATCHER means most Well Rounded and Most Amazing Group K-pop has to Offer. Seriously all of them are Amazing at Vocals, Dance, Rap, Memes, Crackheads, and Pretty Much Everything that you could think off. And I'm so Happy that you Recognize SuA as a God Tier Dancer, usually not that many people would mention her as a God Tier Dancer until You Came Around and I'm so Proud of Our Queen
The truly incredible thing about dreamcatcher is that their vocals/rapping are JUST AS GOOD as their dancing, which is clearly saying a lot. Their weakest vocalist could EASILY be a lead vocal in another group, legit. (Weakest singing is probably dami but she's main rapper so I'm considering gahyeon their weakest vocalist and uh she sang I by taeyeon for God's sake, she's amazing. Altho she also raps well!!! Wtf) And their official main and lead vocals could put others to shaaaaame like siyeon, yoohyeon, sua, jiu???? One of the most powerful vocal lines EVER. And they sing liiiiive, even with some of the hardest, if not THE hardest, choreo and vocals out there. I see groups with easy singing and hard dancing, or hard singing but easy dancing, but never a group that goes so hard on both, and does it WELL. I just love dreamcatcher so much!!!!!

I love seeing my girls' talents appreciated! They're such a solid, strong group as dancers and have some of the best choreo in the industy and they need to be recognized for that more often. Not to mention their unique, diverse discography, comebacks that are always strong and distinctive and have a signature sound to them AND the amazing vocal and rap lines!
Really cool seeing a group who isn’t touched upon that much when it comes to dancing be discussed. It’d be nice seeing Oh My Girl next.

I felt really bad that most people only mention the most famous dancers which is lisa, momo, and etc. But I only hear less people appreciate SuA. She has such great technique in dancing, and still not getting any much better recognition. Dc is so underrated :(

Siyeon that low really surprised me. She has sharp moves and amazing facial expression, but I get what you mean. I suppose it really surprise me, cause I thought for sure Siyeon would be above Handong. I dont know a lot about technical stuff in dance, but I can recognize a "less good" dancer (doesnt mean there bad, just that they have more zones that they need to work on), and definetly, dance its not Handongs or Gahyeons best "quality", you could say. Still, I really like it :3

Handong and Siyeon are pretty equal, but Handong has a better technique and is good with details
I think the most wonderful thing about Dreamcatcher is how much they elevate when they work together. Like they are all amazing and skilled singers/dancers/rappers but on top of that they are able to combine each other strength and the ending result is just incredible! Also I love how much they improved and keep improving, I'm so proud of them

I think Dami has improved pretty noticeably in the past year and a half, and she was already incredibly good. KCON:TACT, My House, and especially Baby Don't Stop really illustrate how fantastic her dancing is now, and imo she's better than many main dancers in other groups.

What's even more impressive is that they sing LIVE with those dances. They have some hard and impressive choreo and still sing live. Also they have great vocals and dance so every member is an all rounder

I would really like to know if there’s any group where the main dancer is the best dancer but not just a good dancer overall in your opinion.
the only one i can think of was girls day's hyeri, but theyre more of a vocal based group. they dont have hard choreos and theyre 2nd gen so good dancers/technique wasnt important back then
shawar Khan but minzy is one of the best dancers in kpop, especially considering she was 2nd gen and debuted at 16

Imma be honest and I’ll probably get some backlash but this is just my opinion. I think Soojin from (G)I -DLE is a weak main dancer. Her stage presence is amazing, but her dancing revolves around the same moves. She hears towards the sexy concept, no matter what concept of dance she’s doing. Idk that makes sense, but she seems to be using her hips when dancing. But again, just my opinion.

I personally think that Dami is not showing her full potential. I mean her facial expressions were just amazing in the believer cover
I think the 3 dancers(SuA, JiU, Dami) aren't really showing it, bcos sometimes they're not that energetic when dancing but can still par with the other members, well they're dancers though

I doubt youll see this, but maybe a good idea for a future video is like an explanation of all the dance terms you use. Like a more in-depth analysis, followed by good (or even bad) examples of these criteria! I guess it would be really helpful to non-dancers who watch your videos, as well as a good break from ranking videos so often. Anyway, i REALLY love your videos! Hope more people subscribe ❤️

Yesssss OUR UNBIASED QUEEN HAS DELIVERED! Dreamcatcher is such an underrated group with a great sound! I’d love to see more vids from such an amazing group! I’d say LOONA and dreamcatcher are about the same in terms of the originality of the choreos and concepts they bring
Thank you, I noticed a lot of people over rank yoohyeon tbh, they always try to put her above jiu and Dami but her execution isn’t as good as them. I do agree she needs to be in the dance line tho
