Great video guys...
Been doing this for a few years now in West Virginia. Here are areas where a drone can help: Pre-construction, Construction phase monitoring, Drilling/Fracking/Reclaimation. Pipelines, Drilling Pads, Compressor stations, Storage facilities, etc... Best thing to get in the door is to start contacting project managers and/or guys on the job site, state inspectors, etc. It will lead you to someone with decision making power. Drone U points out some great things to think about... I was in the Oil & Gas business as an producer/operator for 30 years.

How do you go about approaching potential clients/customers for pre construction and phase monitoring? What license or certificate do you have to legally operate?

@@mtcdrones Business license and Part 107 in US. Insurance is also required. You can call companies directly and tell them what you do and ask who to talk to or you can drive to locations where operations are taking place and ask for a supervisor, introduce yourself, give them a business card/flyer and start from there. Just be honest and creative. :) Good luck.

Do you have a concept of basic and advanced certification in the USA or is it just called part 107? I’m from Canada.
