The cool thing is, I'm an animation student and I also like to write stories, and Mr. Hippo's advice on telling a story, making sure it has a point but also that not everything HAS to have a special meaning to it, is actually REALLY good advice:)

Ever wondered what would happen if you interrupted Mr. Hippo, and told him you didn't want to hear his story? Well, it would go something like this: "Oh? You don't want to hear my story? Oh...I'm sorry. I had no idea. But you know. Knowledge, is power. If you listen to a story, you just might learn something, ya know? Now I won't ramble on, but all I'm saying is that there's always something new you can learn. Reminds me of the time when me and Orville went on hiking trip... Now don't ask me what a hippo and an elephant were doing in the mountains, it's beyond me, and plus I don't recall. All I remember was that me and him were hiking, and Orville said: "Hey Mr. Hippo. And I sat and thought for a second. You see, I'd never actually thought about it that way. I never actually stopped to think if I ever did get tired of telling my stories. But anyway, Orville turned to me, and said: "Well, I don't think I feel like hearing a story right now, Mr. Hippo. Maybe another time?" And this shocked me. You see, Orville had never turned down a story before. And so I said to him, and this is what I said, I said: "Orville, are you feeling alright?" And he said to me, he said: "Yes. I'm feeling alright. It's just that I'm getting quite tired of your stories. I mean you tell them every time talk to one another. It gets a little old." And I was confused by what he said. Every story I tell is always new and fresh...so how could they ever get old? It's like having a new baby, and then calling the baby old. It doesn't make sense! And so I said to Orville, I said: "Orville, sometimes it's good to hear a new story every now and then. You never know what you might learn from it. It reminds me of that time..." But before I could even finish, he cut me off! That's right, he cut me off, while I was about to tell a story! And he said: "Mr. Hippo, I don't want to hear a story!"
