I am surprised you thought is was Cooper. I ruled him out straight away, because we are in his POV when simon dies and he said, he thought Simon was acting it at first and I really, REALLY didn't want her to pull an unreliable narrator. Mostly because that is really hard to make, without it feeling like a cop out.
I did to at first and then as the story went on I thought he was cheating with a girl then i added him back in my radar if thats how you would say that then i figured out that he was gay and i kind of scooted him away from my suspects still keeping him in mind though. and there was some sus behavior with cooper and yeah i was thinking it was him and not thinking it was him and thinking it was him and not thinking it was him the whole time!
I remember guessing who did it not even halfway through and being vex 😂. Bronwyn & Nate were my faves, but you’re definitely right that toward the end the story seemed to shift toward focusing on relationships and I don’t think it should’ve.
Tea Time T Reads I’m glad I took a little longer to catch on 😂 but right !!!!
Meet Cooper Clay: the only man, who is relieved, when accused of doping (that scene was so bizarre, I would have laughed if I hadn't already guessed his twist)
*spoiler*
when we realise it’s jake who wrote the tumblr posts I WAS SHOOOOK
ALSO WHEN THAT SAM KID SAID SIMON PAID HIM TO FAKE THE ACCIDENT, I HAD TO PUT THE BOOK DOWN AND COLLECT MYSELF
Me too 😩
@@mel5528 samee, i never liked Jack so i was like:
"I KNEW HE WASN'T INNOCENT"
ISBWHAUSWIE ME
I called it as soon as the little sister found his Reddit posts like ??? Of course he wanted to kill himself and make a scene
YESSS
“None of us is lying”
Absolutely 100% true /:
It’s still a really good book tho, IMO.
Frankly, I'd thought it was Mr. Avery. I felt none of the four could've killed Simon. Cooper's my favorite, though Bronwyn's a close second.
OMG SAMMMEEE
It was a good review, the opinions you gave were really good too. At the beginning, I thought it was Adelaide or Nate.
Aside From Simon’s app “About that” By the end of the book I realized he only wanted to fit in, to have REAL friends and to be love But because everyone had their social setting and hidden agendas no one wanted to be his friend because he was an outcast. Which I gotta must’ve hurt a lot to be rejected
This is a great interpretation!
SPOILERRR
I was 100% sure is was cooper so sus but then while slowly reading i realized how much of a fool i was then it hit me, maybe it's not one of them and they were framed but Mr.Avery was one hell of a suspect for me
I’ve always thought he was sus as hell an I knew Nate was innocent from the start I mean he is too cute to murder someone
I love that you’re wearing pjs. I ASPIRE TO HAVE THE SAME AESTHETIC. “If you’ve never seen Breakfast Club, you’re EVIL” 😂 yet again a great review
GabbinGabbs I literally live in pjs it was going to be inevitable they’d end up appearing in a video 😭😂 but thank you my dude !! Ur the best
I love this book soo much. I'm 12 and my best friend recommended it. I really loved how well the author touched on Jakes obsessive behaviour with out making it too triggoring. Also I'm in love with nate lmao
Exactly! I remember somewhere near the start when they are in Addys room and he asks if it's fine to have sex and she says something like "he knows I'll say yes. It's never really my desicion." How insane he went with the control freak thing
Thanks for this review! I was specifically looking for a review with spoilers because I really don't feel like spending money on this book but I'm curious what it's about haha. Thank you for providing!!
I thought it was addy but I wanted it to be Bronwyn idk why
Same. I really wanted her to pay for the cheating that she did. I feel like they all did something bad but Brownyn cheated on a whole semester's worth of tests!!
i was shocked. i thought he did it to himself when i started it i have NEVER solved the crime before the ppl in the book.
Loved this book....
I guessed who done it about 30% into it and I guessed the helper bout 10% after that but I loved to read it anyway
Loved the title because maybe a little misleading but still technically true they had lied at one point
After Simon's death, for the few pages I thought it was Jake and Addie.
Love the review. 👌🏻
Although the music is kinda loud and I have trouble hearing what you say. 🔊
Jenny Yheela yay I’m glad to hear !! But owhhh I’m still getting used to this whole editing thinggggg :(
*spoiler*
I remember spending so much time trying to figure out who was the killer, only to find out it was a suicide. Dawg i was so pissed. Plus the ending just annoyed me 😔
It was a good book but i kinda wish that it was one of the main 4 that was the killer. Idk, just my opinion
Maeve is my fav.
Wait can someone remind me how exactly Simon found out Bronwyn cheated and that Cooper was gay?? I read the book via audible and wasn’t able to catch everything sorry
I don’t think they specified, Simon was really mysterious and never really revealed how he all of the gossip info on everyone.
@@emmarie4030 bruv but that leaves a gaping plot hole-
Can you review One Of Us Is Next too?
Thats the plan !!
I'll be waiting c:
@@fightingaphrodite3765
One coming soon?
You look like the actress that did Bronwyn 😍
I knew it from the start lmao
same?? it was so fuckijg obvious , i dont know how none of them considered the possibility of a suicide 🙄
@@smileyface8434 i think the suicide was kind of expected but JAKE being behind it all was a big shocker for me
@@smileyface8434 dawg frlllll
Ich habe das jetzt nicht verstanden wer hat Simon getötet
Er selber es war selbstmord
