Ceb, in my opinion, is the single greatest player to ever play Dota not just because of his skill/strategy but his ability to help his teammates control their emotions.
I can't overstate how much I heckin' love GH. He seems like such a genuinely nice chap who is constantly having the best time just playing DOTA. I hope they get back to their best soon. :)
gh was the team's Ceb but they always shut him up. It was sad. The True Sight didn't really show Kuro's mental frustration and how negatively he impacted the team. There were many moments when he told his team to be OG. Moments where he shuts them up (granted, his team did fall for the ench jebait in Game 1). MC and w33 didn't want to do Tide/TA combo in Game 3 and yet they still picked it. Miracle was silent. Gh buckles down. Kuro flew off the handle plentiful of times. I think those clips were shown in the original TrueSight or perhaps it was in the livestream but it was brutal when I watched it.

Somehow every time I watch true sight it gives me different feelings. Thank Valve for providing new insights and information, which I believe made true sight even more interesting.

TBH what makes True Sight for TI8 and TI9 is Ceb motivational speeches. It adds that feeling inside you like i don't know how to explain but it's so fucking good. Like you're watching a fantasy movie LOTR or some shit when that wise old man is talking on how the hero will change the fate of the world. Yeah that kind of vibes.
his lines are cheesy af, like straight out of a book but god is it incredibly effective. Most ppl will find it hard just pretending to talk like him. He and notail always pay attention to their teammates. They constantly uplift topson in ti8 and ana in both even when they win. You don't see this in any other teams winning or losing in 7 8 9 10 true sights.

Feel so bad for liquid coach rmN after rewatch this true sight. He suggests to ban ember, denied by kuro and ember instant picked by og. Stating enigma was the problem after game 2 and denied by kuro. Suggest to snatch tiny pick after game 3 and denied AGAIN by kuro. He was so afraid when his idea turn down by kuro and stop discussing afterwards. And he still with them while they failed to getting to TI twice. For me, rmN is like Nisha in secret, he deserves better.

The way how the production showed both sides. I really love the perspective of both the winning and losing side. Thats how I get emotionally invested on how "human" these monstrously good dota players can be
That's so fucking true, because Topson is like a midlaner and offlaner in 1. He also the best midlaner and very dominant even only having 1 or 2 items. Like he will run on you every time he see an opportunity.
The mental fortitude from OG proved to be the main differntiator. Jerax topias and ana complete untiltable machines, and Ceb+Notail with the uplifting energy and good vibes. Best combo to date.
Ana is definitely the most fragile member of OG. he quit for a reason because he cannot take criticism, Ceb being a coach-like-father figure to Ana helps a lot for him to play. it was 100% Ana's fault hey lost the first game and Ceb basically sugarcoat everything he said so Ana won't succumb into grief.

I think the morale difference really shows in this true sight. MC and w33 were taking picks they werent confident in just to not argue, and mc in particular looked real worn out near the end. Also man, hearing the comms during the drafts makes you realize how bad liquid got blown out in the drafting stage in games 3 and 4. Game2 was fine draftwise but misplayed, but games 3 and 4 the draft really bit them.
it really took them mentally for playing in lower bracket imo, they already too tired not to mention fighting a team like OG who literally unpredictable with their weird strat. dota is a mentally exhausting game especially if it a late game.

Not so sure about that. MC looked mentally done way earlier already. Propably also due to the series they had to play before the finals. If you look how he communicates during the game he doesn't look beat or anything in my opinion. Looks like he internalized the gameplan of being active, not giving OG time to breath. i'm a lol player, literally i don't understand nothing about Dota2, but this videos are a fuking master piece, i can feel the preasure, the hype, the happiness and the sad of the players.
Watching this now is too painful. I just can't stop crying. The legend is over. We couldn't see Liquid last year at TI and I can't believe that this TI would also be without them. I think one of the mistake Liquid did was not to listen from the dude behind them, The dude was making an accurate call about possible picks and bans. And yet liquid ignored him.
I think after watching this again, kuro is the real problem in their team. He can't let his teammates have their own opinions that's why they are losing, look at them now at division 2 struggling. He must learn how to do Ceb's leadership to uplift his teammates and not just focus on himself.

Still can't believe people gave w33 so much flack when the series was already over after Miracle decided to play greedy and go mid when the team decided to go rosh and nobody said a word about how that move cost them the game. Dota is about communication and mutual understanding between the 5 team members. You can see w33 and MC constantly trying to make arguments but stopping half way because they know its pointless. TI9 Kuro was nothing like TI7 Kuro who went in with the "don't give a fuck" motto. Dota fans are so relentless and mindless sometimes. This team was dysfunctional and the Captain believed in the opponent more than he did in his own team, yet all the blame fell on one person. And yet, the squad has found 0 success after getting rid of the 'alleged' problem. I wonder why that is.
I mean, there were obvious mistakes across the board for TL and w33 was hardly at the center of it. At the end of the day, Dota players, whether teenagers or adults, they are still mandchildren at heart.

The way every member of OG reads every moment especially Ceb, such a treat to watch.
The mental fortitude from OG proved to be the main differntiator. Jerax topias and ana complete untiltable machines, and Ceb+Notail with the uplifting energy and good vibes. Best combo to date.
Ana is definitely the most fragile member of OG. he quit for a reason because he cannot take criticism, Ceb being a coach-like-father figure to Ana helps a lot for him to play. it was 100% Ana's fault hey lost the first game and Ceb basically sugarcoat everything he said so Ana won't succumb into grief.

I think the morale difference really shows in this true sight. MC and w33 were taking picks they werent confident in just to not argue, and mc in particular looked real worn out near the end.
Also man, hearing the comms during the drafts makes you realize how bad liquid got blown out in the drafting stage in games 3 and 4. Game2 was fine draftwise but misplayed, but games 3 and 4 the draft really bit them.
it really took them mentally for playing in lower bracket imo, they already too tired not to mention fighting a team like OG who literally unpredictable with their weird strat. dota is a mentally exhausting game especially if it a late game.

If you look how he communicates during the game he doesn't look beat or anything in my opinion. Looks like he internalized the gameplan of being active, not giving OG time to breath.

This was the most interesting TI FInals because both have the same goal: become a team that won twice.

Still can't believe people gave w33 so much flack when the series was already over after Miracle decided to play greedy and go mid when the team decided to go rosh and nobody said a word about how that move cost them the game.
Dota is about communication and mutual understanding between the 5 team members. You can see w33 and MC constantly trying to make arguments but stopping half way because they know its pointless.
TI9 Kuro was nothing like TI7 Kuro who went in with the "don't give a fuck" motto. Dota fans are so relentless and mindless sometimes. This team was dysfunctional and the Captain believed in the opponent more than he did in his own team, yet all the blame fell on one person.
And yet, the squad has found 0 success after getting rid of the 'alleged' problem. I wonder why that is.
I mean, there were obvious mistakes across the board for TL and w33 was hardly at the center of it. At the end of the day, Dota players, whether teenagers or adults, they are still mandchildren at heart.
