You don't see her flexing her house, or her car, or her watch collection, or jewelry collection. Instead, she decides to show her personality without shame and not act like a "celebrity" as she should but acts like she's one of us, doesn't want special treatment, unlike most celebrities.

We've had a female president before point in case. I think the issue there is more of the political inclination of the masses. They tend to protect their political figureheads and it just so happens that Lea and other successful people have opinions too and whatever they say or tweet becomes a big deal and that's just the way it is wherever you may be. Regarding OP's comment, I think it's just that Filipinos love the belters and we're not as inclined to appreciate the greatness of how perfect Lea's pitch is across her range. We've had so many great singers who could soar really high in terms of notes but none of them are like Lea when it comes to accuracy. The only person I could compare as far as accuracy and beautiful voices are concerned is I think, is Ms Pilita. Out of curiosity, I listened to Pilita's singing during her prime and her singing is just surreal when compared to today's singers. No, she didn't sing with all those soaring notes and of course most of her songs where the oldies tune but her accuracy and the sincerity of her singing is like a combination of Regine and Lea, definitely world class. Lea is already renowned worldwide and even if the masses at home don't seem to appreciate her enough, I mean, that's just like how it is in a family too... So, oh well, right?

Lea is such a perfect artist, very wholesome. The way she dressed up herself, speak, acted and even her choices are a good example for the youth to emulate. She is very respectful to her mother and a loving sister to her brother. She has a spectacular voice that no one can copy her originality.
