I’m 33 and I agree. I often put makeup on and then think ugh why? I looked better before lol. I’m into the thinnest, watery texture available that’s just enough to even me out and blur pores and uneven skin texture.

I love the typology serum. It’s absolutely brilliant and very good for your skin - like skincare rather than make up. I have normal skin and this gives me a dewy look without ever getting greasy. I don’t know how they do it! It looks like I have no make up on but does even out redness and just looks so healthy.
Chanel water tint has transformed my makeup routine. So natural and youthful. I am on my fourth bottle!!! The packaging is great as well, it’s in one of those pumps that enables you to use every single drop, so very satisfying. Great topic to cover Caroline as usual.
I alternate between the Ilia product and glossier skin tint mixed with Future Dew. Both glow all day. I’m 56 and full of freckles so love these types of products🤩
Hi Caroline for this type of effect I use a tinted spf tbh. I'm currently using the skinceuticals (tinted and untinted) mineral spf liquid spf50 (around £30 a bottle). The tinted is a bit too much for my pale skin, but a mix of the two gives a good shade match - they're the same formulation except one is tinted. For a slight boost in coverage over the rosacea I use the Dr Jart cicapair underneath - the green cream that turns beige on the skin. Anything else I want to cover I use concealer. This gives less coverage than the Mac F&B which I also like. I may try the Ilia and/or the typeology though, as both looked nice (it will depend on shades as i'm super fair). Best wishes.

I've used Vita Liberata Beauty Blur for years, have two shades -a a light one for autumn and winter and a darker one for spring and summer. I often use concealer under my eyes and around my nose, then apply Beauty Blur elsewhere. The finish is flattering and glowy, not shiny or sparkly.

I really LOVE Trinny London even the tinted serum is light and glowy,glory, if I want a more matte look, I use her newer Rebalance tinted serum. I think it's brilliant!

Love Erborian CC too and often get compliments when wearing it. You might like Shiseido Waso also, saw it on a Caroline video a while back, it’s similar but more pinky and I use it on days when I feel I need a bit more of a lift. I must look for the CC water one now 🙂!

Love your videos, can't stop watching them......I love a dewy base its what I gravitate too most, I particularly love a product from Keihls , its their cc cream with spf50 I think broad spectrum. It a thin texture, evens the tone out so well, you get a nice glow without being greasy....fab product!!
My go to is the Glossier skin tint, especially over a dewy primer. Chanel water fresh tint is very lightweight too. NYX has just come out with a luminous skint tint serum. It has a disastrous delivery mechanism but isn't bad on me - lots of negative reviews about the product though. And the Lumene instant glow serum is one I tried after you mentioned it, and liked. This type of coverage is right up my alley - 54, with some quite deep lines where anything too thick just collects immediately. Some new things here to look out for - thanks!
Glossier skin tint and future glow are my favourites, skin tint I bought from your recommendation on one of your videos last year. I bought trinny BFF but it oxidised on my skin and clung to dry patches and my fine lines Glossier for me 🥰

I love the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Gel Touch Foundation. It's a cushion compact. Difficult to find. I've only managed to find it in Europe and the U.K. when traveling. The finish is just enough to blur and add a healthy radiance, and in my opinion, looks better throughout the day.

I was wondering if you could do a video on how to choose the best eyeshadow colours for your skin tone? There’s lots about how to find the right colour of clothes to suit your palette but much less on eyeshadow. I know Trinny has started that off but I’m still wondering what is the best colour for me. As I have hooded eyes I’m now bringing the colour up higher but it can feel overdone and muddy so I’m wondering if I’m just not choosing the right tones? Xx
I just ordered ILIA tinted in Dominica to wear daily in the summer-fall months and wanted a light tinted face covering. Also, Nars and Kosas did not have my true color and Typology coverage separates and the color selection for me was not offered. Great video
I purchased the Trinny BBF Cream and I am very happy with it! I don't like heavy foundations and this one is just perfect! I purchased 2 different shades since I didn't know which one I needed. I also purchased the concealer and that is great too! Thank you for the recommendation! :)

Lovely products..I have the Trinny one and the CT Wonderglow. Working and having to wear a mask all day, trying to get more transfer proof complexion cover..but still glowy. Do illuminating primers really work? Any recommendations for dry mature skin ( that needs the denser coverage on work days ). Does the glow really still radiate through bases? Thanks x
I agree, especially if you’re using enough for the spf coverage. I think you’re better off using a different spf and then using BFF purely as a skin tint. Sometimes BFF didn’t blend with other products I used and it pilled which is annoying. 😊

You might try Tinted Sunscreens e.g. Bioderma Photoderm Anti-Redness Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+, Bioderma Photoderm Max Tinted Aquafluide SPF 50+ Light Colour, both around 15 Euro (lookfantastic).
Boots no7 have just come out with Hydra Luminous skin perfector in a few shades. Hardly any coverage but its blurring with a soft sheen. Its like your skins had a good nights rest and your pores and fine lines are blurred. That around £14 i think.
Could you please explain how BFF makes your skin look as I have been curious about that product . Does it really give a nice glow and blurring effect or what ? So many people hype up these products and it would nice to know the real truth ! Thank you so much 😊

Great idea, I find I’m having real issues with eyeshadow lately too and just wear bronzer in the crease of my eye now.

Trinny's BFF is lovely, and the SPF is a bonus, however I would still use a dedicated SPF under it if I was venturing outside ☀️
