Whaaaaaaaaatttt???? No way..... I used to go to this diner 20 years ago and John was my waiter many times and always an awesome dude. I can't believe he bought the place. That's amazing.
You people on here with these nasty and rude comments - GO AWAY and take your crappy comments elsewhere. This guy is a hundred times better than you’ll ever hope to be.
Was there just over a week ago and he is genuinely the real deal.. super nice and witty as hell.. also the food was excellent.. not that he cares 😂 (it's a joke) he asked us how everything was and before we could answer he just said.."not like i care"😂
IDK... You just have to laugh really 🤣 I lived in NJ for many years, and people I'm on the Spectrum I was forced to Stop working and move out of the state to a slower area. I also have said many times "if people understand you then they are nice. If not they will be the nasty people like they are". I was told That wasn't true 🙄. Well you have this person that's still able to work because if somebody is blind you can kind of take a guess there might be a problem. But if you're on the Spectrum there's no visual indication of that. It only takes for you the person to be a decent human being, and not be nasty towards the person. But regardless happy to see that he's still working because it's crazy to work and keep busy
If Princess Alice of Battenburg can live her life to the fullest deaf, this man can live his life to the fullest blind. It's merely a matter of determination.
@mikedavis8008 because on one of the worst nights of my friend's life this guy sat with us and told us jokes while keeping the coffee fresh. It really, really helped.

@@ThumbdownMan, I do realise, as you do, that since the owner himself also works there, anybody else who works there is technically his co-worker: so, I was wrong before in saying "not co-workers". They are both his employees & co-workers. However, in most of such cases, the usage of the former should be preferable over the latter.
Knowing this man exists has brightened my day.

What an inspiration!! We wish he and his staff much success. If I’m ever near there will definitely go!!
Let's hand it to his staff as well. There is a team there. That relationship is the real reason for success.
This man is an inspiration.

Fantastic burgers nice guy

Are you sure he's not pulling our legs and can see? He's handling that diner better than any sighted person I've experienced at one.
He's amazing ❤❤
It’s great and I really respect him but I wish he wouldn’t insist on refilling my damn drink
Amazing ❤❤
This man knows that space more than any sighted person ever could. Other senses makeup for a deficiency...
Christine Ha is blind also. She won Gordon Ramsey's Master Chef show a few years ago and she owns/runs two restaurants in Houston TX
Good for him!!
Amazing
FYI, blindness has various degree. there's blind fuzzy, then ranges to complete darkness blind (very rare). regardless this man is amazing.
🥶 I'll visit this man someday (I'm from Hawaii)

This looks like Rae's Restaurant in Santa Monica. Way to go!
Great job. I know were this diner is.
His hands are shaking when lifting loaded plates and cups , maybe a tremor , hope he is ok, may god bless him in this world and the after
I've been there and I never saw John
very cool
Bought the place without even giving the place a look over 😂
WOW.......
How the heck does that work?
Personally, I think New Jersey is a cesspool. However, this gentleman is simply incredible and I would forgo my beliefs to visit his diner.
❤
To the police, this is NSA. John is 203 IQ. He won’t talk.
Imagine if those boys in the hood actually get jobs? They look strong and healthy to me.

In the latest news blind dinner owner has just been robbed.....
Is that all you can say?! Can’t you say something nice?! He is making a difference!
@mikedavis8008 because on one of the worst nights of my friend's life this guy sat with us and told us jokes while keeping the coffee fresh. It really, really helped.
@mikedavis8008no need to come across so crass

Government workers are going to rip him off, poor guy.
Must be horrible to be his co-worker. Gotta constantly get out of his way,
He is the owner. Other people who work there are his employees, not co-workers.
