I just bought a 2020 Scout 100 Anniversary edition with 200 miles on it. I love everything about it except the small diameter grips. I have always owned Harleys since the 1970s. So, thanks for showing me this process. Looks so easy even...... well, you know..... Thanks again.
I see you got the highway bars. What do you think of them? Since they go forward, I didn't think you could rest your foot on them, so they're really just for protection.
Yes, the highway bars came with my bike when I got it. I like them when it comes to knowing their there for the extra protection, especially in slow speed maneuvers although I have not had to use them for that purpose. As far as attempting to rest my feet on them I see they make highway pegs that can be added, something I have not looked into yet.
Thanks for watching utubevid0! They are still a lot more comfortable than the previous stock grips were, in fact I kind of forgot what the stock grips felt like after using these Avon’s the past couple months, all I know is my hands don’t get numb like they did when I used the stock grips. Now I don’t believe they remove all the vibration coming from the bike, but that may be other factors I’m looking into correcting in the future.
@@TechNickRides Good to hear. Just ordered one..BTW, Amazon has it for way cheaper - yes, I confirmed the part # - should start with IN-S (Indian Scout). Do appreciate your quick response. Was watching your other mods videos (clutch cable, Bassani slip on - those are sounding great). Nice videos. 👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks for watching 👍
Look good. I ordered a set of grips for my Scout today. Take Care.
Thank you BCB.
How do you like the Avon grips after a few months of use?
@@utubevid0 still happy with them. 👍

How are the grips after using them for a few months now? Need to decide based on your opinion.
Great video...keep up the good work.
