Al D'arco mentions in his book that the night Tommy disappeared he came to Gefkens Bar all dressed up for what he thought was a making ceremony. He left the bar with Bruno Facciola and Peter Vario and was never seen again. I think that's the best answer as to who killed Tommy, it makes the most sense the Lucchese family did the work themselves. Who pulled the trigger we'll probably never know though.

This was a long time ago, but something just returned to me that was forgotten. I was drinking with Tommy DeSimone, Anthony Stabile, and others. I said something insulting to Tom. I forgot what it was, but it wasn't in jest. It was rude. Tommy got mad and marched away steaming. Anthony later calmed him down. Looking back, this counters what everyone else says about him being a kill freak. Despite his history, Tommy still showed restraint. I was lucky. I don't remember if, or how much, we communicated afterwards. I was a straight kid and not involved with them. I just ran into them at a bar sometimes.

He could pass himself off as a legit guy. Tom was a follower. He seemed insecure and had others lead, guide, and steer him. The movie was right about him being a funny guy. He could tell jokes and funny stories all night long. The movie underscored how much of a pitiful drug-addict he was though. @@investinyourselfpodcast

@@godparticle1470 We watch movies to be entertained. We want to get scared or be humored. Some scenes are Hollywood dramatization to hold the audience. The scene at Atlanta prison was absolutely nonsense. I was a guest there (1976-'79) and never saw booze and lobsters or heard of that happening. Everyone wants me to say how dangerous Tom was, but I didn't see it. I knew he was a street guy but never realized he had a graveyard out there. He didn't seem like a kill freak. He could show discipline and be charming at times. A guy you wouldn't be uncomfortable hanging with. He had charisma somewhat like John Belushi had. Tom was a funny guy. He could tell jokes, funny stories, and have you laughing for hours. One thing never mentioned, his drug addiction was severe. In jail he was a whiner. No doubt I underestimated him. I never suspected evil ways.

Burke and Vario gave their OK for Tommy's murder so they wouldn't have to pay Him for Lufthansa and Tommy could not turn on them later.
Hill claims He and Jimmy Burke were in Florida when Tommy disappeared.
I think we should ignore what Henry Hill has claimed especially everything He said after Vario and Burke died in prison.

The way I understand it is Tommy was the only one to be made…he lifted his mask or took it off completely….thats the thing with good looking people…that narcissism is hardly ever in check…no one would have had to die if Tommy followed orders but then again drugs make you act irrationally.

Lazy, greasy, psychopaths, everyone of them. And your old man was obviously one of them. I wonder how many lives he ruined, how many innocent families he stole from, How many women he pimped out, how many sons he turned into drug addicts. Probably deserved more than 27 years.

The real story was about a Hair dresser that was dating Tommy, Theresa Ferrara who was crazy like him and sold drugs . She was blabbing all over the place about who robbed the Lufthansa heist and they lured her to meet with Jimmy's men telling her they had some Heist money for her, She told her Co Workers at Big Apple hairdressers in Queens NY That she would be back in a hour . She never returned and they found her Torso in the Barnegat Bay at the Jersey Shore !! They were all treacherous bastards !!! LOL

Desimone was a psychopathic killer and broke the rules and paid the price. He was more of a serial killer than a member of the mafia. The same can be said about Demeo, Gravano, Gaspipe, the Grim Reaper and a few others.

I'm positive that Jimmy mentored Tommy into being as crazy as he eventually became because Jimmy himself was a cold blooded killer !!!!! Tommy was Jimmys protege hence why Jimmy cried in front of Henry when he found out Tommy got wacked !!!!! It makes perfect sense to me because I had a similar relationship as those two & I'm not going to get into personal details but yeah , I'm a ex criminal & my best friend was also someone I mentored & he was basically a serial killer if I'm being honest but that's all I'm willing to tell u here 💯 regardless I miss my best friend(s) especially the person I'm speaking of
