Jay set him up. Been convinced since the first day of this podcast series. I lived with & married a sociopath. This guy is young & learning, but he's good enough to fool these cops. They _should_ have pressed Jay & polygraphed him. All they wanted was someone to pin it on. They didn't want the truth. They rarely do.

ADNAN IS GUILTY!HOW MUCH PROOF DO YOU GUYS NEED?
1.It was a crime of passion, since there was no sexual assault on a beautiful young girl.So something personal, after 20 years of public scrutiny and media investigation, you'd think SOME other angle or motive would come out .But NONE. It leaves either don or adnan, and don couldnt have cuz jay knew so much including where the car is, so he wasnt bluffing. Inconsistencies in his story can be there, he's a human being with a personal life, he was tired of talking to the cops for hours and started just saying yes to their questions wthout thinking much.Secondly he admitted lying about seeing body in best buy, he actually saw it near his grandma house but back then he couldnt tell the police cuz he didnt want his grandma and family involved.
2.LOOK at adnan's reaction talking about Jay at 15th or 16th minute mark, just like in all other audio tapes, he barely sounds as angry or full of hate / resentment towards jay as ANYONE innocent would have if his very close loved one was murdered by Jay( if adnan is innocent has to jay the murderer cuz of things he knew) and leaving him spending his life in prison cuz of lies. Just listen to adnan talk, " dont wanna make accusation againts jay without proof", i was like WHAT? DUDE he killed her no innocent person would talk like that. He is just sticking to innocent because he knows his family specially mother would lose her mind with shock if he admits guilt.

The case gets blurry. Jay is hiding something whether his own activities or actual involvement or the actual killing of the victim. Something is wrong with what he is saying. He tries to reinforce at one point that adnod was planning this 5 days prior then goes back to learning of it the same day. Almost as if he tried to make adnod more suspicious but then retracted and decided that wasn’t a good option and stick to his original plan. Also Edmonston and Best Buy have some value. Something was done at both locations. He’s hiding something just not sure what exactly. I know this area myself and can kind of picture it happening how much time it takes to get to each location. Very interesting case to say the least. Where is jay now??

I’m convinced Jay knew absolutely nothing at all and everything he knew he was told by the police. In order to get out of his drug charge which he could’ve done 10 years for. He knows absolutely nothing and everything he does say we will never know because the police didn’t record straight away they recorded the second interview 3 hours after he arrived at the station - they were getting his story straight and telling him what he had to say. You can hear them tapping on pieces of paper whenever he loses track of what he’s supposed to say. He also told his ex girlfriend that he pinned it on Adnan in order to get off of said charge.

  • @sonnyfoster1292

The detectives didn’t even bother looking into Jay as a real viable suspect. His stories all over the place lying and retracting his story time after time. He clearly did it and used Adnan as the scapegoat. Jay obviously told the story of what happened but instead of himself he said Adnan did it. He only said he helped bury her because he needed to place himself there in case his DNA was found. Not to mention if you kill someone are you really gonna share info with an “acquaintance”. Jays entire story is questionable at best and even his friend Jen’s interview with detectives sounded coached by Jay. A serious injustice has happened to Adnan and needs to be made right.

jay is really weird character. he knows too much about the way Hae was killed. it would be really weird of Adnan to kill hae, call jay, they bury the body and sit in the car and adnan gives every detail of the way she was killed. Adnan would be too stressed and worried about where to bury her. this case is too hard to solve even for the detectives. so I feel they (police) wanted a murderer and when jay came with the information they arrested Adnan as he was the boyfriend of hae, he had physical contact with her, his parents didn't like it and his parents were against their relationship.
THERES SO MANY INCONSISTENCIES WITH EVERYONES STORIES. and most of the person who was convicted "Cant remember everything". its so weird.
A person who doesn't remember things probably didn't do it or have worked really hard to forget anything and A person who actually committed a crime will be spending their every little time justifying to themselves why they did it to make them feel at peace with their actions and learning what to say if anyone came for them. Ie police.
If Adnan was the killer, he has to do his time, if Jay did it then he deserves to be imprisoned and Adnan released and apologised and he deserves the justice for being innocent and spending his life in prison. if the police didn't know who did it and without evidence dont convict any one.

Jay Lat your lazy...especially your thoughts, god help us that we don’t have people like you in charge. Take your time and listen, Hell look the case up on your own without podcast. It’s public info. It’s a botched case. Investigation question to minors after a month, like they would remember. Jay story switches up still to this day. Baltimore cops are literally the dirtiest police in the nation and that’s my opinion before the podcast. The jury was mostly black and uneducated and the info of jay not doing a single day in jail. Plus you really think Jay would help w a DEAD BODY because he was scared of a weed case? So basically he thought I rather help with a DEAD BODY over getting caught with WEED?, cmon man! Give me weed case all day...no matter the amount! Plus if jay was scared he could have easily told the police when Syed called from the supposedly Best Buy to come get him. Send the police then and catch him red handed. Makes sense? Why defend Jay? I’m not sure he did it either, but he’s just has much a suspect. Do your homework and I’m sure you will eventually see. You comment back all you want, like I said before I’m done with this and already like the majority of the 200 million people that listen to the case, I have concluded that there should be another trial and so have the judges. It got blocked by another set of judges which cause conflict that ultimately says he needs another trial. Look I’m not saying Syed is innocent or guilty, he just needs another trial. For all we know Syed could have hired jay to kill Hae and when the pressure was on Jay flipped and snitched. In Chicago right now there are men getting released from prison after 20plus yrs because Chicago has a very dirty detective that was locking innocent men up to have a high number of cases closed which means a whole lot to detectives. Don’t tell me your one of those that thinks all cops are good? Smh...I’m done son. Hopefully you never end up in a situation where your telling the truth and innocent but still gets locked up for something you didn’t do.

Idk I still don't know if Adnan didn't do it but if I had to make a case it wasn't him, I'd point to Jay for the jealousy reason.
BUT the thing is, who is more likely to KILL Hae. Adnan called Hae three times the night before she went missing. Twice at 11 at night, and a third time at about 12:35 am. That's pretty late. She was at Don's place, probably fucking his brains out and that's what Adnan thought. The next day he asked Hae for a ride after school, but why?? He has his own car. And he said himself, Hae had to pick up her cousin so she doesn't do anything for anyone after school.

Like why was he keeping quiet all the time till the Cops were at his doorstep ?
Why did he use his shovel rather than Adnan's, why did Jay burn his clothes after the murder where he didn't do any crime ?
He did things meticulously like a killer.
He knew where Hae's car was ?

They planned it well, Jay got Adnan's phone and Car, they knew even if Jay get caught, they'll pin it on Adnan.

Is the mall nearby where the victim suppose to pick up her nephew/niece? If that's the case, Jay was going to the mall to buy Stephanie a birthday gift.
I don't believe jen for saying that Jay was with her at her place. There no proof for it besides that she says so, but like her good friend Jay who lies much, she obviously is too.

I find it hard to believe that you don’t remember the day your ex girlfriend died. I had an ex boyfriend pass away in high school and every second of that day sticks out in my mind. Even though I had absolutely no contact with him.

I think it differs in every situation. I was only 5 when my younger brother died but I can vividly recall what happened that day. Two weeks ago, my close friend died but I cant remember what happened that day.

My brother died 3 years ago and I could never even begin to tell you the events that played out that day, where I went, who I went with, what time I went. Also, no one knew she was dead until 3 weeks later.

I understand all that my mother died as well. My point is, he didn’t know for a majority of the day. So he wasn’t in a depressed stupor the whole day.

The condom and the liquor make me think they both were involved. Unfortunately looks like Jay pointed the finger on his weed "buddy". I'm happy I stumbled across this podcast case.

I have NO idea why anyone believes that Adnan is innocent.
