Additional facts or rumours on the case that I remember: 1. No one was fooled. Many people felt that he was dodgy cause of his body language at his numerous interviews. 2. The police suspected him from day 1 and delaying arrest to collect concrete evidence. That’s why he was arrested within only 4-5 weeks, which could be considered as a short period of time to resolve such a crime. 3. He was a private pilot and there are rumours that he had dealing with a ring, transporting illegal stuff, as a private pilot. Is that what you mean FBI? It could be, if he was engaging with an international ring, but the authorities haven’t confirmed any of these rumours for obvious reasons. 4. It is being said that Caroline found out about his illegal dealings and that was the main reason why he killed her, not only due to domestic abuse. This has not officially been confirmed, either, for obvious reason.

To sum it up: the detectives weren’t fooled considering that they solved the case in 5 weeks which is pretty quick given all the evidence they had to go through. It’s also likely the detectives knew within the first two or three weeks that the husband killed her and just waited until they completed their investigation to arrest him. They detectives didn’t get the forensic evidence from the security cameras and the watches the couple were wearing on the same day they read through her diary, questioned the neighbors, and realized the window was too small for an adult male to climb through. Oh, and there also weren’t any FBI agents getting fooled. The title is such bs clickbait that it’s actually pretty comical. If you think that the FBI, which is hands down the best investigative agency in the world, wouldn’t be able to forensically analyze some security camera and watch data, and realize the window that the husband said the attackers use to enter the house was too small for anyone to fit through, then I have to question your intelligence. The FBI solve major crimes that often involve international conspirators, but you think they’d walk into this crime scene and think, “oh no! How are we going to solve this poorly planned out murder mystery?” Hahaha

The FBI played no part in this. Greece and all other European countries all have their own special investigative teams. Are you even aware that Europe has an even more respected agency than the FBI? Additionally, suspicions about the husband were fairly strong from early in the investigation, but the team wanted to be sure he wouldn't find out. They even arrested a few men, who were actually European Secret Service undercover agents, kept them under cover, before releasing them without charge. It was a very clever move because the husband thought they did not suspect him. When they finally arrested him, he was shocked. I love to here about crimes being solved. That was a fucked up case that no one from their environment reported to the police. Then when they got married she was actually 18 so nothing could have been done.

Additional facts or rumours on the case that I remember:
1. No one was fooled. Many people felt that he was dodgy cause of his body language at his numerous interviews.
2. The police suspected him from day 1 and delaying arrest to collect concrete evidence. That’s why he was arrested within only 4-5 weeks, which could be considered as a short period of time to resolve such a crime.
3. He was a private pilot and there are rumours that he had dealing with a ring, transporting illegal stuff, as a private pilot. Is that what you mean FBI? It could be, if he was engaging with an international ring, but the authorities haven’t confirmed any of these rumours for obvious reasons.
4. It is being said that Caroline found out about his illegal dealings and that was the main reason why he killed her, not only due to domestic abuse. This has not officially been confirmed, either, for obvious reason.
This documentary was absolutely mind-blowing! The way the husband deceived everyone, including the FBI, is just unbelievable. Every twist kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t stop watching till the end. Incredible storytelling, can’t wait for more videos like this!

I was once a teenage girl. Having someone fly a helicopter over my school, meeting the love of my life, and getting married were never things I dreamed of. I mean, sure, I had crushes and stuff, and I certainly KNEW a couple of girls who simply couldn't wait to get married and get pregnant, but it certainly wasn't the majority.

I am from Greece and I can tell you that: police arrested him after one month from the time the crime happened. Only thing was that within this month he had gained people’s sympathy so much so that after the arrest it was very difficult for us to “hate” him…

In Greece it is widely suspected that this case is actually much more compicated than it appears. Notice the amount of police accompanying Babis after his arrest. Why? Have you ever seen so many policemen, so heavily armed accompanying someone for a domestic murder trial? In Greece, which is the EUs Colombia in terms of politician-mafia collaboration, it is said that Babis was involved in drug transport for criminal/business players with his helicopter. Ever Caroline's father has said that Babis killed her because his daughter knew too much and Babis was afraid she would spill the beans. So please realize that the domestic abuse story is only a front. Babis is more dodgy than he appears.
There is some much extra information missing... this case is deep mafia and Babis clearly covers his boss ... what about his closest friend the owner of the tavern who was found dead (when Babis was in jail)? Police said it was suicide BUT he had 2 shots one in the head and one on the heart...!

He did not fool anyone, he was the main suspect from the start. He killed her because she found out about the illegal activities he was engaged into and wanted to leave him. Even now in prison he still feels no remorse. He is studying to be a lawyer after his release and he receives hundreds of letters from women who say they are in love with him

She was simply too young for marriage, still figuring out her identity at that age. His behavior was highly inappropriate. He became involved with a minor, married her, and treated her poorly. This kind of harmful behavior knows no boundaries. What kind of guardians would allow a man to build such a relationship with their 15-year-old daughter? His actions in pursuing someone so young reflect a need for dominance. Rest in peace, Caroline.
To sum it up: the detectives weren’t fooled considering that they solved the case in 5 weeks which is pretty quick given all the evidence they had to go through. It’s also likely the detectives knew within the first two or three weeks that the husband killed her and just waited until they completed their investigation to arrest him. They detectives didn’t get the forensic evidence from the security cameras and the watches the couple were wearing on the same day they read through her diary, questioned the neighbors, and realized the window was too small for an adult male to climb through.
Oh, and there also weren’t any FBI agents getting fooled. The title is such bs clickbait that it’s actually pretty comical. If you think that the FBI, which is hands down the best investigative agency in the world, wouldn’t be able to forensically analyze some security camera and watch data, and realize the window that the husband said the attackers use to enter the house was too small for anyone to fit through, then I have to question your intelligence. The FBI solve major crimes that often involve international conspirators, but you think they’d walk into this crime scene and think, “oh no! How are we going to solve this poorly planned out murder mystery?” Hahaha
He didn't fool everybody. Far from it. Suspicions fell on him from the get go and the police were methodical to make him at ease until they closed the trap.

The FBI played no part in this. Greece and all other European countries all have their own special investigative teams. Are you even aware that Europe has an even more respected agency than the FBI?
Additionally, suspicions about the husband were fairly strong from early in the investigation, but the team wanted to be sure he wouldn't find out. They even arrested a few men, who were actually European Secret Service undercover agents, kept them under cover, before releasing them without charge. It was a very clever move because the husband thought they did not suspect him. When they finally arrested him, he was shocked.
I love to here about crimes being solved. There is no need for some American Utuber to change names, claim the FBI was involved and do so little research. Do you think Americans are stupid? Do you think they wouldn't know that the FBI is an American organisation? Don't you feel shame for doing so little research?
