- In today’s world water is of a great concern to the human beings because we can’t survive without it. Hydraulic ram can be one of the solutions to this problem of a mankind. Mostly in India where villages are situated far away from the water source it is not possible to the people living there to go miles away carrying away the buckets of water. A hydraulic ram or hydram is a cyclic water pump powered by hydro-power and it is pollution free pump and also known as green pump. It takes in water at one "hydraulic head “and delivers the water at a higher hydraulic head and lower flow rate. The device uses the water hammer effect to develop pressure that allows a portion of the input water that powers the pump to be lifted to a point higher than where the water is originally present.
Study Area:
Murde village is located in Taluka- Khed in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra State, India. Pin code of village Murde is 415709 and postal head office is Khed City. It belongs to Konkan region. Local language of the village is Marathi. Entire village is in hilly area with a gently declining slope. The elevation is 27 meters (Above Sea level). It is located 10 km. towards North from Khed.
The study area is geographically situated in between latitudes of 17 ◦ 47 0 14 00 N to 17 ◦ 47 0 31 00 N and longitudes of 73 ◦ 23 0 35 00 E to 73 ◦ 23 0 28 00 E. The rivers named ‘Narangi’ flows through Murde village.

@@bloom8860 I don't know about video editing at that time. so I directly put video. Actually I want to show lining indication for piping of RAM Pump.
There is option the mute sound. If you don't like music then just mute it.
