That's why I love FF.They synchronize each other with musical talents that they have in order to keep playing for their beloved fans on stage. In this 2015 incident Dave asked Taylor Hawkins to play a couple party songs to keep the audience pre-occupied and having fun while Dave fix hid broken leg.But just after they play a half of Queen's Under Pressure song,Dave came back to play for the audience for another 2 hours or more. And it was fascinating at the same time,it's the best thing for the whole world to watch a rocker playing the whole night while he's injured and fix it only half an hour. The best thing here is the Queen's under pressure song being played while Dave still battling his injury. What a fitting song it is in such condition!!
Actually, nobody expected Dave to return after his fall, him included. What Dave asked for was the band to play a few songs for everybody in the audience and the band where to return at a later date to do a Foo Fighters show. There was actually a few in the audience who left because of this statement. When a doctor looked at the injury backstage Dave said he wanted back onstage but the doctor stated that's not possible because the leg needs to be stabilized until taken care of. Dave then replied he wanted it cased on the spot and the doctor to accompany him onstage to hold the leg in place while he join the band to continue the show. That's why the band was surprised as Dave returned onstage and that's why there's someone sitting and holding his leg.
Yeah, he seems like such a cool guy. I’m sure they gave him a Cortisone shot and or pain meds. Maybe just Tylenol knowing Dave (just finished his book recently, it’s great by the way) and he did a great show with all his band brothers too I heard. Great band and sad and tragic loss too. I hope they’re all alright. This will change all their lives forever…♥️🕯
@@icy8042 Taylor Hawkins died suddenly while on tour in March 2022. He was only 50. 😔 It was a heart attack, but they never really confirmed exactly what caused it.
It would be great to see Taylor Hawkins up front ,and he was so shy and humble. He will leave a huge hole in rock n’ roll. God it’s so tragic. We are losing way too many good people who are just as important as these musicians who leave way too soon. Please, get help if you need to ♥️ Call somebody, listen to somebody who needs it, and please know you are loved…🕯♥️
Taylor, shy? Not really! He did front 2 bands, live and in videos. He loved doing his song, and Dave taking the drums, huge areas, he always came for at least one song. He was the friendliest guy, just a doll, but on stage or back stage, not shy.
@@janes.1559 Well, you may want to read Dave’s book. It says a few stories and interviews all say he was absolutely sickened, terrified even throwing up because he was so afraid to go on stage, even behind his drum kit etc…
Most def the weirdest and somehow best concert I ever witnessed. Never saw him fall down, only noticed he was missing and my friend said "I think he fell of the stage...".
Adrenaline, whiskey, and the love for music kept Dave going this whole show. He truly knows what it means when they say “the show must go on”
Who the hell does that?! Dave Grohl is the man! Thank you Dave! R.I.P. TAYLOR
Agree!
One of the most rock n roll moments of all time.

One of the best foo fighter shows ever
When adrenaline and love for your craft trumps pain. ❤️
The adrenaline rush for the paramedic up there must of been racing up there too.
I love Dave Grohl.

I miss you Taylor!
Maybe he is on little Morphine but thats wery understable!! If your leg is broken!!!..
Adrenaline is helluva drug.
Adrenaline and whiskey are the only medicine this rock legend needed.
