AA usually are not good in that spot. Like you said, someone could have straight or more likely 2 pairs since middle suited connectors likely called to see the flop. Either case, AA would be behind after an all in plus another shove after the all in.

2nd of all w/o putting any money in on the flop and facing two shoves where the 2nd has 0 chance to be bluffing you fold.

If he took the 12 k and dropped down to a limit that his bankroll could afford it would be a boss move. He didn't make 12k in a hour, he made 5-10+bb an hour at 2-5 for the rest of his life. Be smart kids.

Love the first hand, betting 2/3's on a monotone flop with no spade, calling a check raise with no spade and calling 2 more streets with no spade where you should have tons of Flushes, Full Houses or made hands with spade blockers.
