I’ve been thinking about participating in a monthly book subscription box, so this was very helpful. However, I think I’d rather just buy the books I want to read (I could get a lot more books for the money) and forgo all the gifts. I was interested in something to encourage me to read more, and these boxes really don’t do that. Most of the non-book stuff isn’t anything I need or want; it’s just clutter. A lot of wasted packaging too.
Very good points:) But I love my book boxes, lol. Especially Authentic Books. I use almost all the items each month.
Book of the month wasn’t featured but they do a monthly/3 month/6 month box for fairly cheap and they only send the book, no extra stuff! You may be interested.

Hoooray!! I’ve been looking forward to this subscription box round-up! Thank you :). I really liked the Authentic Book box and I’ve always been interested in getting the Once Upon a Book Club box. I have been receiving the Owl Crate box for a couple months now, and it has great value...however, I think the regular option is only young adult books, which is ok, but I like variety.
