    I’ve never made bread. Today will be my first attempt. You’re dad is a wonderful teacher! Can’t wait for tomorrow, since I’ll have to do that 17-24 hour step first. Thank you both! I’m ever so grateful. 🥰

    Real bread , made with real passion and by real people.
    This tutorial was so wholesome and therapeutic. On top of that, it was incredibly helpful.
    Your father is truly a joy to listen to. I hope you realize just what you have.
    ❤😊❤

    What a wonderful video. I know it's been a while and I hope everything is well your way and everyone is well. I have been experimenting with different kinds of bread and Lord willing I am going to try this bread. It looks great and it will be my first time doing an overnight fermentation. If I get to try it I will let you know how it turns out thanks so much and thank dad for me as well. God bless

    I baked it today. Using fresh yeast
    Took your advice and do step by step.
    Well. It's not crispy like yours since my oven max is 200 i guess. Still it super delicious.

      Yes it could be the oven that's not holding the heat aswell. Also you could try opening the oven door slightly for the last few minutes baking just yo help remove any steam.

    can u use APF but pour boiling water into some of the flour and work up the gluten before adding your leavening and finishing the dough?

    How do you properly store this bread?

    • @cookingwithstevethechef
      @cookingwithstevethechef  2 года назад

      To be honest, this bread I better eaten within one or two days otherwise it doesn't stay crusty. But if you really wanted to store it for another time then I would recommend freezing it

    much too difficult. i see a lot of people here say they'll try it but with no follow up.

    • @cookingwithstevethechef
      @cookingwithstevethechef  Месяц назад

      @Fasool_Ayheid-yx3ki this is actually a very simple recipe to follow, and alot of people on here have tried it and said it came out great so I don't think you really know what you're talking about

      @@cookingwithstevethechef you don't realize what an ass pain this recipe is because you're a professional chef who, 1, can do this in your sleep, 2, who has the boatload of kitchen tools and utensils, which for me to buy, i could buy 100 loaves.

    • @cookingwithstevethechef
      @cookingwithstevethechef  Месяц назад

      @Fasool_Ayheid-yx3ki well if can't follow a simple bread recipe, I think baking maybe isn't for you. Or if you can go online and find a more simple recipe for crusty italian bread then good 👍

    Just out of the oven, followed it step by step, I must say David it looks every bit as good as yours . I used Allinson's very strong white bread flour.
