Nice runs. Tesla is actually nearly 4100 lbs and they are heavier than the RCF. Just the electric torque makes them take off faster from slow speeds. 2nd gear and 50 mph is the best speed to do a rolling start in the RCF. When you are braking from high speeds, use the downshift to run down the gears so that your brakes gets used less (and it also sounds really cool). I know I might be sounding like a broken record, but a lot of those runs would be better if you had smaller, lighter 19-inch wheels. The car would rev up much faster getting into the powerband and hitting peak power sooner. You can see my videos as we have similar mods. I realize you don't like the look of 19s, but definitely that is the trade-off. I guess, Cheers
Oh yea I always down shift to make the car stop faster. This is my first 2nd car that’s an automatic. I normally drive manual so I understand. He has the single motor Tesla so it’s 3800 pounds. The dual motor and AWD Teslas are over 4000. He does have the performance package tho which gives it a lot more power. Plus it is all electric. I’ll do better in these match ups once the headers are on. Once I get my race car tho. All these cars are gonna lose lol.
@@hewantsmoke83 Ah OK. I thought it was dual motor. Did not know it was a single motor with the performance package tune on it. The dual motor ones are not that quick from a roll. There is a video of bolt-on RCF beating a Model 3 Performance from a 2nd gear roll badly. Cheers!

I absolutely LOVED this video! I go up to the North Georgia Mountains (called the Mini Tail of the Dragon) with two different car groups; one is all Lexus, and the other is a mixture like this. Like you, it's not about beating anyone else per se, but more about keeping up. 😀 With the right tires (PS4S), I have no problems keeping up with Porsches, Vettes, Bimmers, etc. Good stuff, thanks for posting!
You really have me sold on black Rcf bc I wanted to do silver I still don’t know though but something about the black just makes that car super aggressive with the body lines popping like crazy especially after good paint correction so clean and sleek the car looked better than 99 percent of those cars 🔥
@@MrJrolon1975 💯💯 I’ve had the C7 and the C8 Z51. I’m waiting on my Z06 to be built right now. Chevy takes forever. They took 2 years to build my Z51 C8. This will definitely be a longer wait for the Z06. 🤦🏾♂️
I mean the Vettes have well over 200HP on me so I would expect for them to do that. 😂😂😂 ain’t no way any regular V8 is going to beat a C7 Z06 let alone a modded one. The Tesla is all electric and we went from a slow roll. If you know anything about the RCF. They are freeway cars. The do best from a 60 roll. They are extremely heavy and the rear gears are not set for 0-60. So my best races will be on the freeway.

I always tell my wife that when I’m riding with her that’s when it seems like all the racers come out, but when I’m cruising there are none
Also did the car rub a little or lot on those canyons couldn’t really tell on audio since knowing your on those 20s bc the 20s look aesthetically more pleasing in a way than the 19s but obviously the 19s more functional
Nah not really. I probably rubbed maybe 2-3 times and they were really good dips. But I don’t rub hard. The offset I have works perfect for 20s on this car. The 20s just look much better to me than 19s. If I really wanted this car to be super fast and race it. I would definitely go with 19s tho. Also with a ceramic coating on the paint. I think the black looks the best on this car.

I’ll do it once I have everything on it and that way I know what I’m working with once it’s completed. Headers is the last thing I’m doing to it tho. I don’t want it to suck more gas than it already does lol. I have to keep reminding people this is my daily and the only reason I’m modding it is because Chevy is taking forever to build my C8 Z06. They are only making 300 a year right now which really sucks.
