I love how Lopmon Assistand/Lopmon Hindrance, Veemon ( 2006 ), DoWormmon, BlackMeicoomon, Noctumon and NoPulsemon are looking. Also i can't wait to see part 2, and i hope you will give these variants their own Evolution lines.
Armor and champion variants would be cool. Also making cohesive lines for some of these would be cool too. Most specifically I want to see a cohesive line between NoPulsemon and Shroudmon
I’d love to see a story with Wyrmmon and Hiraithmon! It would be cool if they played a Agumon and Gabumon or Veemon and Wormmon role and jogressed at some level. Perhaps at champion to get a Paildramon style thing or an Omnimon Variant
I realize now that you said Hiraithmon does factor in Wyrmmon’s Mega but still it could be cool. This is why I rewatch these videos. I always miss things lol
NoPulsemon just feels like the GulusGammamon of Pulsemon. Also that one Veemon's V reminds me a lot of Shoutmon (or at least something like him) and I love it's connection to UlforceVeedramon.
I'd love to see a "fixing digimon season ___" series with a description of what things you think could've been done better for each season, potentially with custom art where appropriate.
Let Kari and TK inherit their oniisans’s Crests for their Eggs, Davis can have some originals ones or whatever, or like Tenacity from the WonderSwan games and whatever Rei from V-Tamer had. Less pointless wish fulfillment would be not nerfing Gatomon, and instead have her be stuck as Salamon after losing her tail ring. Instead of having nothing on her neck, she can wrap the whistle around a few times or Kari can give her her old bandanna so she doesn’t look naked.
Honestly, the fandom seems to be better at creating variants and new digimon then Bandai is. And I've got quite a few recolor variants myself, such as Lucemon Unity mode, a Lucemon who can control both light and darkness without being consumed by either. He's basically just a regular Lucemon with the wings on the left side being black. One wonders if they will make more recolor variants.
Honestly full lines for already existing variants would be cool too like Bushi Agumon having some bushi greymon? Probably could end in Gaiomon pretty easily or a very similar War Greymon variant

I said "I wish he would make some Digimon Rookie Variants like I use in my Tabletop. I wouldn't steal the art, but I could show people the video to inspire them." And here we are! These are some fun concepts. I like a lot of these, and I think that BlackBiyomon is probably my personal favorite of the bunch, but I also really like Veemon (2006).
Hey Karn, in V-Tamer Tai's partner, Agumon, deviated to the V-dramon line, but I always wondered. Which Digimon line would the other chosen children's partners become in the V-Tamer universe? Would Sora's Piyomon become Cockatorimon? Would Davis's V-mon grow into a Greymon-species to match Tai's Agumon becoming V-dramon? What do you think?
Veedramon kinda was a bug, so an irregular digivolution, so I would think they would turn into something original, more in line with the personality of their tamers. Manga Taichi is trying to win every battle, even going to tournaments, thus Veedramon, the V is for Victory. Seeing as Taichi Manga and Taichi Anime are different in personality, but not too much, I would tackle it from that angle. Sora is very caring, and that would also fit into the V-Pet-thing, another thing we need to consider, so with all that, maybe Piyomon would become something like AeroCeemon?
@@rieftheleaf @Rief the Leaf As I recalled, V-Dramon was a member of the Ancient Class Digimon (i.e., with great power, but with a short life span, and a tragic fate, just like the Warriors Ten). I would expect that the lines of the Chosen Children of the V-Tamer universe would be all of the Ancient Class, just like Taichi's partner. It would be fair to assume that at least one form in their evolutionary line would be of the Armor-Class, Dinosaur species, or with a more straightforward body structure until they reach their Ultimate level. In that form, I would like to see Digimons from groups like the Olympus Twelve, the Warriors Ten, and, of course, the Royal Knights, powerful forms that would correct the life span defect inside their Digicores. Also, it was a good thing that the producers of Adventure 02 decided to remove the life span problem from V-mon, Hawkmon, and Armadimon. Because I'm positively sure that it would have quite the impact on a few younger viewers if, in the middle of the battle against BelialVamdemon, Silphymon separated because Hawkmon's life ended.
Would love to see more on the OCmon of the channel, I always enjoy when people have fun with their fandom and get a chance to geek out. Also curious on stuff like design choice details and name origins. Like is Aurgeldramon and Hraithmon named after a specific dragon, or just a term that's flown over my head?

As someone who's favorite digimon is Veemon and unapologeticly based Veemon has my favorite variants especially the 2006 version and l instantly feel in love with the design and I need this to be real I also love all of the others ofc and I think all of u of u did a really good job and really captured the essence of what a variant should be and yes I would love to see more of this in the future 👍🏾
I’ll be honest, the Veemon 06 variant is easily my favorite as someone who grew up on Data Squad. My art isn’t all that great, but I still would LOVE to try and draw a custom line for the little guy that was a counterpart of the 06 Agumon line. Even a Burst Mode. I would love to see more variant videos cause some of these ideas are so brilliant, especially that idea you brought up for the Frontier Spirits. Though they seem more mode changes, like VikeChakmon, WarAgunimon, etc etc. could be cool. Great video as always Karn! Love your stuff.

While not a variant video suggestion I have always been fascinated with the idea of combining the spirits from frontier and the armor digivolution of 02.
This is fun to see; I would like to see more variant videos. On that note, I have been wondering something, with MedievalGallantmon basically being a variant of classic Gallantmon in Witchenly, what would the rest of the Tamers' Megas Witchenly variants look like and be called? Witchenly, basically, being that sort of classical Fantasy setting in the digital world, and thus a Fantasy variant of the Digital world we've seen up to this point. I recently started getting back into doing art and actually drew up an original Digivice a few days ago and posted it over on Deviant art under the handle/alias hvgtd; for some reason, I drew a magatama-like design on it, and just earlier today started thinking that it could be the sort of Digivice a team of Digidestined have on them in a season/series where it takes place in a version of the Witchenly server of the Digital world, with the kids making the connection that it's a digital world but the Digimon all referring to the server by the name Witchenly while using a mix of classic Digimon terms and some those more occult, arcane, and mystical terms in their unique lexicon.
Loved all of the ideas for future videos! 1. Champion variants 2. Savers/Data Squad lines if we had Veemon 2006 3. Fanfic video with the "Karn original 'mons", that one would probably take a long time and a lot of effort, so no rush there.
Great as always to see you and your team's unique takes on concept like these in Digimon. Decidedly, I'd especially enjoyed Lopmon's Hindrance variant, Tentomon's Beetlemon color scheme variant, monodramon's variants, and Impmon's "Sweetmon" variants. The amount of detail and fun nods you and your team put into your designs and content is quite inspiring, and per usual, I wish you the best of luck on your projects! Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Wow, that Lopmon and BlackHawkmon look sick! That Tentomon workds especially given his relation to Beatlemon! One thing I've been wondering for a while now is what would the other Adventure Bonds look like? "Tentomon Bond of Knowledge", for instance! I can't be the only one who'd love to see that! I know other people would love to see variants for Digimon other than Agumon and Gabumon! And did that Marineangemon tie-in have something to do with my observation, by any chance?
I would love to see a video where you go full ham with your costom digimon partners. Like showing us their lines and maybe give them armor digivolutions and all the good stuff.
Awesome video! These were all really cool variants and recolours, especially the Gomamons (slight bias there :b), Betamon-coloured gomamon would look cool with a head fin instead of the mane/hair/mohawk too I think. I liked the Lopmon Assistant/Hinderance, we need more scholarly digimon, maybe more "nise" digimon in general too. I'm also down for a digimon-with-toy-variants video! I have my own virus/data/unknown gomamon OCmons too xD More possible ideas: maybe more into the "regional" aspect? (we've got snowy mons but i haven't seen a lot of jungle variants/recolours like J-Mojyamon. Ex. a jungle gomamon that grows into more of a sea lion or bear-like digimon?) Or "class" swapped mons (Like "what if Tentomon was a deep savers class?"). Or making jogress mons that look like their non-standard parts (I, again, have another OCmon called Silphydramon, from the Airdramon+Nefertimon silphymon jogress combo), could be a fun theme to explore~
I'm newish to the channel and would love to see a "what if" on t.k. and Kari getting a 2nd digimon partner when picking up the hope and light digieggs! To make a full length video perhaps there could be a what if the adventure 02 gang all got second partners with their second eggs and the new partners and old be able to armor digivolve with both eggs and vice versa!
awesome video, would love to see some variants of champion-mega (maybe an omnimon variant special?) but I'm really interested in that frontier with overt reference, only because I'm working on a fan concept of agunimon with an overt reference to Digimon adventure's wizardmon
That's such a fun idea! For the BlackCalumon, I think it would also be cool if the symbol on the forehead was a Digital Hazard instead. It would also be awesome if Veemon got a red variant to evolve into RedVeedramon (I want to see this line completed someday, a red Ulforceveedramon would look really cool as a independent vigilante like knight instead of a royal knight). But Nopulsemon takes the trophy hands down, this one was just genius in concept and execution. Btw, since you mentioned armor variations, I always thought it would be cool if Magnamon had a no gold variant, with just a regular metallic armor instead. I think it would fit really well thematically if this was the regular ultimate evolution for Exveemon, as it would be the perfect counterpart for Rapidmon and Goldrapidmon.
Fanfic please! I LOVE when people play around with their own original Digimon ideas because there's just SO MUCH you can do with the basic concept of "Monsters from the Digital Plane".
I know you noted why you didnt X-Antibodies here, but I certainly think giving X-Antibodies to Digimon without any would also be a cool idea for a future video.
I actually had an idea for Wrymon myself as an alternate evo where it was Wrymon, Antlionmon, DragonFlymon, and its last form being similar to Dukemon having alternate forms with Tiamatmon, or WrymKnightmon the idea of it becoming either a Dragon of Destruction or a Hero who saves the world from the dragon.
Hear me out, Coronamon virus variant. ;) Jokes aside, I love that you did a V-mon savers style. I tried to do that when I was ten and it was literally just normal V-mon with red belts all over his body 😂

This is an interesting Idea. Maybe somethin like Armor Digimon having Colored variants reminiscent to that of respective Crest Predecessor's Final Forms. Examples such as Fladramon & Lightdramon having colors that reference WarGreymon & MetalGarurumon respectively? OR maybe something similar for Dig-Spirit Digimon like Spirits of Thunder having Tentomon Line Colors? 🤔😄

Something I always thought about was what would Susanoomon look like if two other elements were used as the base to create it. So instead of Fire and Light fusing to get the form we got, we could have other versions. Tho this might first require you make fusion forms of the other Frontier characters for if they evolved with the combined power of four other elements instead of Takuya and Koji. But that would be pretty cool if you decided to do it I mean...
A really fun idea for a digimon video would be giving full lines to the big death-stars from xros wars (preferably custom but I know not everybody has the money for all those commissions), because I always thought some of them, dorbickmon specifically had really cool designs and deserve their own confirmed lines which I am exploring in my own personal au

I think a cool concept video would be if the 02 Partners were able to DNA digivolve their digieggs together they have a hybrid of the two eggs at the same time
I'd love someone to get some biomerge megas for ghost game. I'd also like to see if the Tamers used the armor digiegg cards. Mix it up with Rika using Knowledge and Light, Takato using Love and Hope, Henry using Sincerity and Reliability, and Ryo using Courage and Friendship. Bonus could be Impmon with Destiny, Leomon with Miracles, and Lopmon with Kindness.
Hey if every once in a while you wanna go complete fanfic for a video I would be down for it. You have a lot of passion for your ideas so it would be fun to see where it all goes. Besides have you actually looked into Digimon fanfics? I don't mean to insult someone's work but you can tell most were written by young teens. Loved the video man, can't wait for more as always.
If you do that and make that story video, you could commission the artists you normally work with to make Digimon for themselves as partner Digimon and have them be your fellow destined.
I've always wanted to see a ToyGabumon variant to further connect with ToyAgumon and Omekamon (maybe they can jogress to Omekamon?). Something like PlushGabumon to fit with other "toy" like Digimon, or maybe a SketchGabumon that better fits Omekamon.
I also have Welsh blood in my veins but live in Australia. Great to see you made a welsh dragon Digimon but it also come from Wormon, one of my favourite Digimon! Would like to see a more Australian themed Digimon then what we got in the international episodes of 02 with the Australian Tamer having a Crabmon of all things as a partner.
Hear me out. Kimeramon variants. We have MarineKimeramon but I’m curious what it would look like if we had more versions like a HeavensKimeramon or DeathKimeramon for example. HeavensKimeramon would have parts based on holy Digimon like Angemon, Cherubimon Virtue, or Pegasusmon. DeathKimeramon would gave parts based on demon-like Digimon like Devimon, GulusGammamon, or Rasenmon Fury Mode. Another example I came up with that I really like would be SpiritKimeramon which would have parts from all the spirit Digimon from frontier.
Working off of the idea of the Karn Tamer OC story, how about a video dedicated to the Digimon of various Digitubers? Whether existing or OC Digimon, it would be a nice way to show off everyone's personality and who they feel fits them best.
The intro to this video gave me an idea for Armadillomon that spit up into two-ish forms or ways you could do it. My idea using the squares on Armadillomon into being a Chessboard/Checkerboard vibe. The first would be ChessArmadillomon a black and white colored Armadillo of which the armor part of the body is black and white. There will also be a tie in to the Chessmon family by have two versions of ChessArmadillomon where the difference would be the main body would white (vaccine) or black (virus) with the name reflecting as such. Like calling the white version ChessArmadillomon vaccine or white ChessArmadillomon. And the other variant would be CheckeredArmadillomon. It's like ChessArmadillomon but red and black instead of being black and white. And you could still if you want have two versions of it where the difference is which color is the main focus of the version.
A fun little variant idea could be were DNA evolution partners return from the fusion with each other's color scheme, for example Piedmon and Myotismon. It could be a funny joke in an anime where the human partners are stunned by their digimon's color change.
If you don’t already have a storyline in mind for you OC Digimon series, may I suggest the idea of *Hard SciFi* Digimon? Digimon can only meaningfully be interacted with in VR and AR (you can also communicate through screens like with people but only that far, they’re not physical life forms- I guess you could change their code or delete them through normal computers, and maybe there’s a villain who’s torturing or hurting Digimon or something but Oh No! He doesn’t have a camera or microphone and he uses a VPN so we can’t track him!) and while they’re ai that evolved beyond their parameters like in Tamers, most of those ai were created for specific purposes, and their thoughts and behavior were informed by that, and most of them just want to keep doing what they were doing, but also be treated well? Some (most?) antagonistic Digimon just want to keep doing their things but be treated like people while they do so? Maybe the happy ending would be building robot bodies for some Digimon to live in so they can interact with the real world- the protagonist(s) being seemingly forced to choose between pure escapism by spending all their time in the Digiworld, possibly uploading their brains or dying, and between “giving up on” the Digital World or something by being too busy because they’re growing up and need to work or something.
That black armodillomon would be super sweet. I'd love to see black/dark variants of armor forms be a thing, and armodillomon is one of my favorite partner digimon (terriermon wins that award though, mostly because gargomon is so good lol)
Toyveemon should be a different kind of toy than Toyagumon's legos. An Idea that comes to mind are the old transformer toys changing from one form to the other, it can evolve into Toyexveemon through that transforming action. Could also go with a Toywormmon route for a toy combination evolution that could be reminiscent of Omekamon as a champion level toy version of Imperialdramon

We are in dire need of a dark Renamon and a blue Tentomon. I do think a full-fan-fiction video would be awesome. As a fellow fan fiction writer, I'm curious about what kind of storyline you'd come up with for a team of DigiDestined/Tamers partnered with, like, Hyokomon, Wormmon, Blucomon, FanBeemon, etc.
I like that you made colour swapped ones, Because while custom art is always cool There's something neat about changing as little as possible to make it its own thing. Also as a non-digimon fan I didn't know Fake Agumon Expert exists, But I love it, it's such a little rascal.
One thing I'd love to see is digimon redesigning recolor variants to make them more unique and distinct from the original (like hyogamon, redvegiemon or lopmon) (maybie it's a cool idea for a video?)
For a What If/Custom Art vid how about The Seven Angels of Light? (literally just came up with the name now) Basically either purified versions of the 7 Great Demon Lords or new digimon to serve as their counterpart. Each one of course representing a virtue. Chastity (lust), Temperance (gluttony), Charity (greed), Diligence (sloth), Kindness (envy), Patience (wrath) and Humility (pride)

While not a variant video suggestion I have always been fascinated with the idea of combining the spirits from frontier and the armor digivolution of 02.
This is fun to see; I would like to see more variant videos. On that note, I have been wondering something, with MedievalGallantmon basically being a variant of classic Gallantmon in Witchenly, what would the rest of the Tamers' Megas Witchenly variants look like and be called? Witchenly, basically, being that sort of classical Fantasy setting in the digital world, and thus a Fantasy variant of the Digital world we've seen up to this point.
I recently started getting back into doing art and actually drew up an original Digivice a few days ago and posted it over on Deviant art under the handle/alias hvgtd; for some reason, I drew a magatama-like design on it, and just earlier today started thinking that it could be the sort of Digivice a team of Digidestined have on them in a season/series where it takes place in a version of the Witchenly server of the Digital world, with the kids making the connection that it's a digital world but the Digimon all referring to the server by the name Witchenly while using a mix of classic Digimon terms and some those more occult, arcane, and mystical terms in their unique lexicon.
You could go a bit nuts with Wormmon varients using the various worms that exist... BloodWormmon, MealWormmon, EarthWormmon etc

Wow, that Lopmon and BlackHawkmon look sick! That Tentomon workds especially given his relation to Beatlemon! One thing I've been wondering for a while now is what would the other Adventure Bonds look like? "Tentomon Bond of Knowledge", for instance! I can't be the only one who'd love to see that! Awesome video! These were all really cool variants and recolours, especially the Gomamons (slight bias there :b), Betamon-coloured gomamon would look cool with a head fin instead of the mane/hair/mohawk too I think. I liked the Lopmon Assistant/Hinderance, we need more scholarly digimon, maybe more "nise" digimon in general too. I'm also down for a digimon-with-toy-variants video! I have my own virus/data/unknown gomamon OCmons too xD More possible ideas: maybe more into the "regional" aspect? (we've got snowy mons but i haven't seen a lot of jungle variants/recolours like J-Mojyamon. Ex. a jungle gomamon that grows into more of a sea lion or bear-like digimon?) Or "class" swapped mons (Like "what if Tentomon was a deep savers class?"). Or making jogress mons that look like their non-standard parts (I, again, have another OCmon called Silphydramon, from the Airdramon+Nefertimon silphymon jogress combo), could be a fun theme to explore~

I'm newish to the channel and would love to see a "what if" on t.k. and Kari getting a 2nd digimon partner when picking up the hope and light digieggs! To make a full length video perhaps there could be a what if the adventure 02 gang all got second partners with their second eggs and the new partners and old be able to armor digivolve with both eggs and vice versa!

That's such a fun idea! For the BlackCalumon, I think it would also be cool if the symbol on the forehead was a Digital Hazard instead. It would also be awesome if Veemon got a red variant to evolve into RedVeedramon (I want to see this line completed someday, a red Ulforceveedramon would look really cool as a independent vigilante like knight instead of a royal knight). But Nopulsemon takes the trophy hands down, this one was just genius in concept and execution.
Btw, since you mentioned armor variations, I always thought it would be cool if Magnamon had a no gold variant, with just a regular metallic armor instead. I think it would fit really well thematically if this was the regular ultimate evolution for Exveemon, as it would be the perfect counterpart for Rapidmon and Goldrapidmon.

I actually had an idea for Wrymon myself as an alternate evo where it was Wrymon, Antlionmon, DragonFlymon, and its last form being similar to Dukemon having alternate forms with Tiamatmon, or WrymKnightmon the idea of it becoming either a Dragon of Destruction or a Hero who saves the world from the dragon.

Hey if every once in a while you wanna go complete fanfic for a video I would be down for it. You have a lot of passion for your ideas so it would be fun to see where it all goes. Besides have you actually looked into Digimon fanfics? I don't mean to insult someone's work but you can tell most were written by young teens. Loved the video man, can't wait for more as always.
If you do that and make that story video, you could commission the artists you normally work with to make Digimon for themselves as partner Digimon and have them be your fellow destined.
I've always wanted to see a ToyGabumon variant to further connect with ToyAgumon and Omekamon (maybe they can jogress to Omekamon?). Something like PlushGabumon to fit with other "toy" like Digimon, or maybe a SketchGabumon that better fits Omekamon.
I also have Welsh blood in my veins but live in Australia.

Hear me out. Kimeramon variants. We have MarineKimeramon but I’m curious what it would look like if we had more versions like a HeavensKimeramon or DeathKimeramon for example. HeavensKimeramon would have parts based on holy Digimon like Angemon, Cherubimon Virtue, or Pegasusmon. DeathKimeramon would gave parts based on demon-like Digimon like Devimon, GulusGammamon, or Rasenmon Fury Mode.
Another example I came up with that I really like would be SpiritKimeramon which would have parts from all the spirit Digimon from frontier.
Or even just different element versions like flame and elec.

Working off of the idea of the Karn Tamer OC story, how about a video dedicated to the Digimon of various Digitubers? Whether existing or OC Digimon, it would be a nice way to show off everyone's personality and who they feel fits them best.
The intro to this video gave me an idea for Armadillomon that spit up into two-ish forms or ways you could do it. My idea using the squares on Armadillomon into being a Chessboard/Checkerboard vibe.
The first would be ChessArmadillomon a black and white colored Armadillo of which the armor part of the body is black and white. There will also be a tie in to the Chessmon family by have two versions of ChessArmadillomon where the difference would be the main body would white (vaccine) or black (virus) with the name reflecting as such. Like calling the white version ChessArmadillomon vaccine or white ChessArmadillomon.
And the other variant would be CheckeredArmadillomon. It's like ChessArmadillomon but red and black instead of being black and white. And you could still if you want have two versions of it where the difference is which color is the main focus of the version.

A fun little variant idea could be were DNA evolution partners return from the fusion with each other's color scheme, for example Piedmon and Myotismon. It could be a funny joke in an anime where the human partners are stunned by their digimon's color change.

If you don’t already have a storyline in mind for you OC Digimon series, may I suggest the idea of *Hard SciFi* Digimon? Digimon can only meaningfully be interacted with in VR and AR (you can also communicate through screens like with people but only that far, they’re not physical life forms- I guess you could change their code or delete them through normal computers, and maybe there’s a villain who’s torturing or hurting Digimon or something but Oh No! He doesn’t have a camera or microphone and he uses a VPN so we can’t track him!) and while they’re ai that evolved beyond their parameters like in Tamers, most of those ai were created for specific purposes, and their thoughts and behavior were informed by that, and most of them just want to keep doing what they were doing, but also be treated well? Some (most?) antagonistic Digimon just want to keep doing their things but be treated like people while they do so?
Maybe the happy ending would be building robot bodies for some Digimon to live in so they can interact with the real world- the protagonist(s) being seemingly forced to choose between pure escapism by spending all their time in the Digiworld, possibly uploading their brains or dying, and between “giving up on” the Digital World or something by being too busy because they’re growing up and need to work or something.
That black armodillomon would be super sweet. I'd love to see black/dark variants of armor forms be a thing, and armodillomon is one of my favorite partner digimon (terriermon wins that award though, mostly because gargomon is so good lol)
Toyveemon should be a different kind of toy than Toyagumon's legos. An Idea that comes to mind are the old transformer toys changing from one form to the other, it can evolve into Toyexveemon through that transforming action. Could also go with a Toywormmon route for a toy combination evolution that could be reminiscent of Omekamon as a champion level toy version of Imperialdramon

For a What If/Custom Art vid how about The Seven Angels of Light? (literally just came up with the name now) Basically either purified versions of the 7 Great Demon Lords or new digimon to serve as their counterpart. Each one of course representing a virtue. Chastity (lust), Temperance (gluttony), Charity (greed), Diligence (sloth), Kindness (envy), Patience (wrath) and Humility (pride)
