      Ouch salty! Did you ever consider the best way to demonstrate an RC plane that's noob friendly is to give it to a noob and let them fly it successfully. I have never professed to know everything about the hobby let alone a new facet which I've never been exposed to like the RC planes, everydays a school day for me. I take it you didn't watch to the end where I corrected my previous assumption regarding the off set of the motor? So quick to berate the efforts of others that you didn't even check. Perhaps if you where a little more amenable and put the effort in they would send one to you too. 😉👍

    The motor and propeller on small RC models like these...are canted about 2 or 3 degrees toward the right (looking forward). A small amount of 'right thrust' helps to counteract motor-torque and keep the nose pointed forward.

    Thank you for sharing your experience of the first time using a RC aeroplane. You were very honest about your skills and loved the wee jokes you made the review even better. I'm buying one to learn them move up from there.

      Hello! Thank you for taking the time to comment. I try to be as honest as I can be in the reviews. This was genuinely very easy to get to grips with straight off the bat. So I can't recommend it enough for a bigginneer. One thing I have learned is get some spare props or paint the ones you have a bright colour so you can find them! They are designed to pop off in a crash and they can fly off into the weeds!!! A mate of mine lost two in 15mins, it's very easy done. I think the discount code in the description for Banggood still works so you can get 10% off your purchase (if it's not on a deal already). 👍😄

    I have one of the T28s and that also flies well. I've been building and flying RC aeroplanes for a few years but I remember how hard it was at the beginning, so I'm amazed that you still have a model in one piece after your first flight - well done. The hard bit for a beginner is when the plane is flying towards you and the controls appear to be reversed; the gyro won't help there, so again, credit to you.
    The motor offset is normal, btw, as you found. Right thrust to offset torque and aerodynamic effects of the prop, and a touch of down thrust so increasing speed doesn't cause the model to climb too much.
    I'm sorely tempted to buy one for myself.

    • @theminiatureconstructionco4556
      @theminiatureconstructionco4556  2 года назад +1

      Not as amazed as I was! Both myself and the chap I was out with couldn't believe how easy this thing was to fly. I honestly thought that the video would be very short!!!! He was so impressed he bought two!
      If you do decide to purchase one, if you could use the affiliate link in the description that would help the channel no end. Also the Eachine promo code should get you 10% off too! Appreciate you taking the time to comment and watch the video. 👍👍

    The three bladed prop will make the plane fly faster.
    These planes also come as Mode 2 and there doesn't seem to be an option for Mode 1 which IMO is a better mode to fly in as it is more precise.

    • @theminiatureconstructionco4556
      @theminiatureconstructionco4556  Год назад +2

      Ok that sounds reasonable. I found that on the A6M Zero the 2 bladed prop (see latest video) made it fly worse than the 3 bladed prop? Didn't seem to like it at all. I've got limited experience with RC aircraft though. Thanks for taking the time to comment. 👍👍

      @@theminiatureconstructionco4556 hello and thank you for your comment. You are very welcome. I started out flying control line aircraft when I was around ten years old and eventually when I could afford it (we were poor family) I ended being able to fly R/C planes later on. I flew until I was around thirty or so and ended up having a break from the hobby. Also in my day we had to build things off a plan. Cut the balsa etc... My passion ended up being Scale WWII aircraft. None the less worked in a Hobby Shop for around five years or so and I have decided to return to the hobby after such a long absence. But in this time in my life I really only want to fly little foamies and so on. No long have the drive or the health to compete in compettitions etc. None the less back then it was all 36Mhz FM radios. So all this 2.4Ghz is new to me and I am still learning.

    Hi, I didn't notice a flyer ID on the plane, once you have your Operator ID licence to fly issued by the CAA, that number as you must know from taking the test must be displayed, the possible fine is up to a £1000 for not displaying the ID, the whole idea about licencing flyers was to stop the idiots just going out flying and displaying the ID is key, otherwise it gives a very poor impression to other flyers especially on platforms such as this. Cheers

      Hello Malc B👋. Thank you for you concern and bringing this very important information to the attention of my subscribers and fellow idiots. As you are probably aware flying this model plane requires neither a flyer ID or an operator ID because it's a toy under 250g in weight. No regulations or laws have been broken and no fine needs to be issued. So rest assured no poor impression has been given to model aircraft pilots. Thanks for taking the time to comment 😊👍.

      It's under 250g model aircraft: toys below 250g or in C0 class. those in C0 class with no camera, whether they are a toy or not. those below 250g with no camera and no class mark, whether they're a toy or not. no licence is necessary for these or any other flying craft under that weight, inc drones.the spit weighs about 65 grams inc battery.
