About Zinnia VS Arthur, the precon is clearly meant for Zinnia to be at the helm. That Curiosity Crafter you cheated out with Arthur? Absolutely bonkers with Zinnia out, especially if you offspring it. The family precon also has a 2-card combo: Helm of the Host + Combat Celebrant. I had no idea until I ran a simulation with it yesterday. 😅

Seems like Bello is very good when he's not the commander haha . Because Bello seems to be kill on sight, so, you are better off making a board state then casting Bello
Unnecessary @@TheBigPenguuyou build your board and cast bello. If he gets taken out you grull ramp makes casting him again pretty easy. He doesn't need to stick around when it's not your turn and he doesn't care about having summoning sickness. Of you need protection instant speed ones are way better.
I've been trying to to brew a Mr. Foxglove deck, but have been struggling to make it interesting. I feel like it needs a gameplan besides "ramp up to 5, start cheating out big creatures," which sounds agonizingly slow. Maybe I should try modifying the precon, since it already seems okay; build a functional deck that works without the commander.
More than most other precons, these backup commanders seem way more buildaround than typical. They really need their own custom lists, just switching them out in the precon feels bad.
I think The Odd Acorn Gang is better than Hazel, being a draw engine in the command zone all by itself. The precon also has Chatterfang as a possible 3rd commander, and IMO, he's way better in the token department than Hazel.

The squirrel commander cheated because when they attacked the squirrels with myriad he only had to steal 1 in total and not 1 for each squirrel that landed the hit.
I think there was a missplay with The Odd Acorn Gang and the myriad squirrels. The last ability of The Odd Acorn Gang says whenever ONE OR MORE squirrels deal damage, so you only get to draw 1 card, regardless of how many squirrels dealt damage
Not sure where the misplay is, but if the squirrels connect with multiple players, their controller draws a card for each player that received combat damage.
Are these the precons straight out of their boxes again, but with the other commander? I'm disappointed that the Chatterfang in the squirrel precon wasn't foil... 🥲

I really like Arthur and I've been trying to make him work out of the box, but I think I might have to switch him for Zimnia after all

Arthur needs his own deck, though does well as a Lieutenant in Zinnia proper.
Bello and Wildsear are so so good. Love to see Gruul do the old fashioned bash face but with enchantments.

It's worth running a bunch of equipment and enchantments that give protection or Hexproof with Bello in the command zone.

Bello is a powerhouse and wildsear is gross. It just gets nutty
Bello is in my opinion the best of the four decks. Once a couple of the nasty enchantments come out and you drop him it's pretty much game over.
