The Rattler (2008 off-ride) - Six Flags Fiesta Texas

The Rattler was a huge wooden roller coaster which operated at Six Flags Fiesta Texas between 1992 and 2012. It had a reputation of being rough and has now been converted into a steel coaster, Iron Rattler. This is the original wooden coaster, filmed in 2008.

Good off ride video! The original seems to have REALLY lost its pace, but I'm glad SFFT and RMC turned it into a good RMC coaster!

I haven't ridden the new version yet...I found this wooden version a bit bland on the helix and a bit rough in other places...It looked amazing but was disappointing in terms of ride experience. I gather the new version is excellent1
