Use formations that have offensive line attached (most trips formations) simply block the TE . Most people only send 6 with mid blitz. Now you’re blocking 6 . Run cutters ability and you’re good
3-4 WRs and a TE attached to the line. Put the wrs on any combination of zig, stop, streak, short crosser, comeback rout. Most people that run straight man on mid blitz arnt every good at usering so you can also find a play where the rb does a goofy rout and block the TE.
Mid blitz is incredibly easy to beat nowadays if that's all your opponent runs. Just run HB Off Tackle on them to death and bubble gum your opponent with zigs & motioned drag routes
only problem I see is on the rpo read flat to the posting te. A few times you needed him to break into the post and then you threw. If you wait that long in game, you will get flagged illegal man down field with 100% certainty.
I feel like this is getting consistently boxed mixing in Cover 2 with 5 yard Hooks and 30 yard Flats that're shaded down and a loop. Or just by a man blitz worth a damn. Or match. I can just see it now, some kid on CUT trying to run this and getting put in a casket.
Nah it’s decent but against good opponents it’s not gonna be THAT easy. Good opponents adjust they give less openings they put you in conflict. You have to be able to react fast enough to find the openings

Good mid blitz players will run mid as a hybrid, man and zone or they make cover 3 or cover 2 adjustments out of mid blitz

Ive been using this play since day one. Especially in the red zone. I put on receiver on a post and another on a quick slant or stem the post down.
