Another amazing video Coach!!! I am pretty much determing that the number one and most important part of the reciepe for healing is to better understand, love and grow yourself. It is just so hard to do so while still feeling the longing and pain without your partner. over the split i realized that we really don't have "boundaries". We did everything together and it didn't let us have time to ourselves, which leads to less quality interactions and resentment. There's something fundamentally wrong with that, especially for two naturally independent extroverted people who have hobbies and friends we may neglect. Wishing you luck.
I am currently going through the third break up with my girlfriend of almost 4 years. And I can say I want her back! But I'm trying to work on my own commitment issues before I reach to her. It's a long, slow process.
I fell In love & my ex & I had 7 breakups total, it’s over & it sucks but in all honesty she changed me but I just couldn’t find a way to make things better, I tried my best for an entire year but in the end we fell apart. Life goes on, I’ll be ok but in the end I will go on living my life happy even if it’s without her & the life we had planned. You've given me some great points about understanding the dynamics of the relationship. He has broken up with me for the second time. He started by saying he is tired of trying to love me that I deserve better yet wants to be able to come by. W e get along very well, and have dialogue lots of laughter and affection. And Yes I do feel that I deserve better and I know in my heart he has all that I need. The reasons he explained confuses me but I have to think about myself rather than try to figure out what he means. I love him deeply and not willing to throw in the towel. Your advise is an eye opener for what I am currently experiencing.

I’ve just gotten through our second break up... I’ve completely lost my confidence around her to the point where she notices I’m not comfortable at all and it makes her uncomfortable, which is why we broke up! I had a 2nd break up 12 days ago with a guy I dated about 3 months and we never became official for whatever reason he didn't want to commit. First time he broke up with me he cried so much and told me he is such a mean guy to have put me through all that. Then he came back after 2 weeks and told me how much he has missed me, is thinking of me and must see me. He was drunk, but we still met. The day after his attitude got super cold and we ended up having an argument in the cafe because he was ignoring me and didn't even stand next to me when we were going to get coffee. He was annoyed that I was annoyed and so he told me he never liked me, never caught any feelings for me and asked me why i haven't moved on yet. Before he was ok with being friends, but now he doesn't even want to be my friend. He has never ever been this mean to me. He always cares about how I feel.
I am in no contact day 12 now. Do i still stand a chance to get him back??:(

I was very abusive (not physically except for a couple times but it wasn't beating her/punching the wall or throwing stuff at her) and I did a lot of other mean things. We got close to "breaking up" multiple times after I did stuff, but we never had a big split up until her mom called mine in very late January, very early February and said we couldn't talk anymore.
My ex told my friend about two weeks ago and then me the other day that she cried and was mad at her mom for two weeks for it. This situation definitely isn't entirely my ex not wanting to get back with me, but it's probably gonna be hard to get her mom to change her mind. My ex has definitely gotten mad at me, taken off the rosy glasses, and gotten into a new relationship/become happier than when she was with me, both as truth because I'm not abusing her anymore and as a coping mechanism like guys say because part of her probably does still hurt about the breakup, especially if I give her enough space maybe.
Since we can't hang out in person or call very easily, it's hard to get on the phone to eventually schedule a meet-up one day and texting is just killing everything because since we broke up I've come to hate text conversations in general, not just with her. That can actually be good in the future because texting is dangerous due to things being taken the wrong way.
Our text conversations are short and I think that she's bored/annoyed and just texts me to be nice mostly and probably for an ego boost as well, which I understand. Enough quality time together in person can help that out a little.
I've been trying to find a way to make money during the quarantine to get my car fixed up/a new one and my license, but I haven't been able to find a way to make that much money (car probably has at least one of a few problems that would cost $500-$1,500+ to fix) and the DMV and license plate agencies are hard to go through. There's some license plate agencies that I can make an appointment at so I can get the car registered and in my name, etc, but I haven't been able to find a close country's DMV to do a driving test and get my license after I get ready.
I've been putting a lot of faith into getting my license and car as I mentioned because it'll make hanging out in person better and it might make my ex want to hang out more than if I didn't have all that stuff. I don't like using jealousy as a tactic and I'd much rather just talk and do things the right way but going on vacations and stuff might lead to her wanting to be a part of it again because we never had that while in a relationship. I was 17 when we got together and I'm 19 now.
Things could have changed since then, but the same day she told my friend she cried, that was at the grocery store and she also said (I was in no contact which made her mad and she's still resentful for that) that I'm not gonna get her back by being a jerk or something like that. She said that while with the new guy, but since then I've said something else to make her mad. I told my friend she might have gotten her mom to call mine because she was uncomfortable with how I may react if she broke up with me and she took that the wrong way when he told her, she was mad at me for talking about stuff I don't know about. That's reboundable after some time.
All in all, I need to spend time with her in person to be able to show that I'm not the old abusive me anymore as I get into situations where I can be tested and that she can have fun and be happy with the new me without having the fear of ever being back with the old, mean, boring me.
How do I explain this to my ex and make him want to get back together ?

hi me and my now broke up yesterday well actually he gave me the silent treetment and then he told me i didn tchange and he couldent do this anymore .It was our 3. try . the first try was 2015-2016 and the second was from Oktober 2017 to january 2018 .and our last try was aprill 2018 to july 2018 . thefirst time we broke up because i didnt treet him well and i was all jealous and needy and just plain mean to him so he broke up with me . we were still friends after but didnt talk until we got back togehter again the 2. time the second time he was in a wierd place of his life and still depressed from the breakup so was i so he just stopped talking to me and that was our second breakup. now it was very complicated his parrents hate me and we didnt want to tell friends until we knew it would work so nobody knew .i got all weird and needy again and we were fighting a lot the last 2 weeks he started a Party Phase so i was afraid he would find someone else . he is so over me already or thats what it feels like but he was always telling me how perfect i was and we were planning a future togehter but i fucked up again every time we would fight he would just not talk to me for hours so i got more and more needy but that pissed him of . i have the Feeling he will never take me back . i blocked him so i have control over the Situation but i want him back so bad and i want it to work in the Long run what schould i do ???? im sorry for my spelling im from Germany

I’m on my first breakup here… it’s been rough, yes I’ve done the shadow work but the situation is currently out of my hands. It’s been 2mo since she deaded me, I reached out a few times talking pretty needy and her responses were so cold so I stopped. It’s been about a month of no communication and I went from feeling empty inside to now alittle bit dead to our connection. My anxiety was through the roof, and some days are better, some are not. I wasn’t perfect, but the love was always there(from my end). Women truly are emotional creatures and have a tendency to “fall out of love” quicker than men. Learned so many lessons in a short period, never going through this roller coaster of emotions again. Life hurts but if u got dumped, the best thing u can do really is to leave them alone. Nothing you say will change their mind, they have to do that on their own.
What if you had multiple break ups and they moved on to a best friend who they have dated a couple of months and after 2 months no contact while he's been in jail he finally reached out to me by phone call to ask about his unborn son and also ask about me and how I'm doing? He has cut all contact with friends and family and let's only this gf visit but now he's reaching out to me ... and says he will call again in a couple of days to ask about the scan and see how il doing ?

Hi im in this position now, I shamefully did no contact for some weeks last time around. I think f/t commitment was at the heart of our problems, and bit of drinking. We had a great love, friendship and relationship otherwise. I think with work on both sides it can work if I can get him back ! Hes away for a rebound with an old friend, cut a long story short we gradually started texting, he even called to talk to tell me he slept with her multiple times, business hes doing etc, although everything was coldish just like dropped the news suck it up kinda thing. Following texts were just like the old days, but I too have no idea whether a relationship is what he wants. Trust is the big issue that came from our conversation though. We are meeting up on his return next week, but Im wondering if its the big 'goodbye' or what, im bricking myself. I have been deep soul searching like has been said, and figuring out the root of our breakups, and need to convince him that things can be different, as well as being a better person myself and to him if he wanted a new start. I guess we will see..videos Ive been studying say - be attractive, kind and friendly, recognise and tell them how you hurt them (if so), and deeply apologise, make the onus about them and not yourself. Don't mention love or such, and explain how you see things change for the better. I am going to play this by ear and led him lead the convers first. I am at peace about the rebound thing even though its was a few weeks in, got to let go of the thought of it all, i guess easier as shes abroad so wont have to see her anyway. I broke up with my ex 18 months ago but we have been in contact.. he begged and begged me but I didn’t respond. He stopped afterwards and stopped contacting me. I thought I was over him. 9 months after the breakup, I started developing feelings for him.. then I reached out to him severally.. sending long emotional messages.. I tried to hard.. we started talking again but then, he asked me to move on. I tried to but he called and texted and feelings just came back. This happened 3times within 4-6 months. Getting high is the only thing that has helped me not breakdown but I feel it around the corner and I’m depressed again. Ex GF broke up brutally over the phone after 5 years living together and 4 dogs she chose. She never once wanted to talk or say she had any problems whatsoever. I just wish she could’ve talked like I always asked her to. She just hates me now and says she’s gay now. I'm at the bottom of my relationship with my ex boyfriend. This is our fifth breakup since 2015. We haven't spoken to each other in over 3 months now. He got the last girl that he cheated on me with pregnant. He cheated on me five times with four different girls.

My ex and I have been together for 5 years. We broke up a couple of times in 2022 and again here in April. I had anger issues and I messed it up. She said she wants to end it. But all this fight happened just a week back. We had decided of a break, where we can be in talking terms but also give her space until she heals. She is also not denying the fact that she loves me but because of some past wounds the crack in the relationship has widened. Please help!
It's been almost 5 months since the break-up now and there isn't that much progress in my situation :(
I've had some nice conversations with my ex, but she still doesn't seem very connected when we're texting. Could that be due to the fact that our conversations aren't upbeat enough? I'm having quite some trouble sometimes to keep a conversation going because she gives very short answers.
I hope that you have some advice for me :)

I don’t know what to do now my boyfriend I love him so so much, he is in a bad situation suddenly is uncertain of our future. I don’t know what to do I don’t want him to leave him again I am scared. We are on our 5th breakup, this is the longest one going on 3 weeks. Usually only last a couple days to 4days. We’ve returned all each other’s stuff made it known to friends and family. Is this it? Hi...... I get dumped from my ex for no reason and once he found out I was in a relationship he asked for me to be his lady again. He was wise when he did this because he waited until my bday to take me out and pooed that question of getting back together, as I was involved with someone. I never broke up with my new bf cuz I couldn’t trust the one I was with which was my ex. Not even three weeks later he started being even more distant from me dispute my changes. His mom has issues he’s worried about but this was happening before now just has gotten worse. Don’t do it they come back different they don’t respect you and they’re not honest with you either plus it’s a lot of work too easier to be alone and find that person that respects you loves you and is honest with you

I am totally broken hearted. This is the third time my ex has broken up with me this time it was because he saw too many red flags and told me that he wanted to end it now because breaking up was inevitable. He has trust issues and said I was accusing him of seeing someone else like his ex used to do. I was not doing this but could not convince him he was mistaken over my message. Hey Coach I am in a situation that I don’t know what to do first of all my recent ex change her number the good thing I still see her three times a week on a group from church so we broke up on December 2018 she blocked me. For a whole month She unblock me but she told me to give her time that she doesn’t want to talk to me I didn’t respect that. I was trying to talk to her but she wouldn’t respond so I stop texting her I Text her the third day no response. Couple days pass by after we talked just a little bit But it seems that she wasn’t there in little conversation we had. I also messed up by bringing up the break up it was stupid of me. telling her if she doesn’t want to talk to me she could go ahead and block me she wouldn’t do it So we would talk here and then the other following week I brought up the break up I know ur going to say.. that was a stupid idea.. so I brought up the break up again she got mad I told her if she doesn’t want to talk to me she can block me she blocked me. When that I realize a lot of stuff about me I also had a bad day at work they laid me off. So I was mad.. and she hasn’t unblock me at all which today is March 9 2019. On March 4, 2019 she had change her number. I’m sure because I called private couple times I’m sure she felt anxious that she can’t get no space. I’m sure she lost some interest..but the thing is where we go to church she has two friends an there married. Does two girls they support her a lot I don’t know if they are giving her advice what to do which will be kind of dumb if she is taking advice from their friends. so now I got nothing left with no number but we still see each other three times a week. Is there anyway I could flip that what I’m doing right now I dress way better different. I am more confidence I’m centered I’m thinking more Straight. I see her looking at me here and then which I try not to look at her at all but the question is what can I do in this situation or to get her to like me because I don’t want to approach to her since she did that pretty much on changing her number what’s your best advice in order for me to flip that problem that I have? Throughout this time it’s been three months I change so much I build my confidence I went to the process. I did look for her 3 times through out does months ? The reason for the break up was because I got on her apps and I was browsing around something I should’ve never done. I had download an app of Yahoo mail to get to her mail the was the first on December 2018 I confront about some stuff which it was nothing bad my thoughts weren’t thinking positive that day I disrespected her with words. I had erase that of yahoo. An just about now on feb 15 I downloaded to get something from my mail but it actually open an when back to her yahoo mail an she got the Notification on her phone saying someone from another device her open her Yahoo when I noticed that it took me to her email I try to talk to her on church but I couldn’t I got a phone Texter I explained everything that it was an accident that I didn’t know it was going to take me inside her mail. I’m sure she didn’t believe me. It sucks and it’s crazy how that happened thing I couldn’t of done just be honest with her what happened. Throughout the three months we were getting back together twice and it didn’t happen because of those accidents so what can I do from now on what’s your advice?
P.s we were actually getting married to she knows I have a ring for her because she had try it on already before this happen

I have to admit that I was actually being needy last night towards my ex. I told her how much I love her and how I want her back and at least wanted to be her friend and how I've felt throughout the relationship and of course, as for the results, she was too cold and told me that she instantly lost feelings for me and doesn't love me anymore. It bummed me out so I started to be a little less needy. I told her to take care and fun out with her friends since she was out with her friends last night. She then ignored that message.
The next day, she sent me a simple "good morning" at around 11:30am today. Does that mean anything good? Or...?

15 years and so many breakups we had.. now she is with someone else! and been going on for them over 3 months.. how can I take her back after having another man sleeping in our house we once shared? sleeping on our bed we bought together? It is very hurtful and I am no contact but live in the same area and I keep seeing them! it is exhausting emotionally and mentally
BTW.. I am currently in therapy, buying books and learning how to grow within myself to be better without her. she jumped right into this guy within the first 30 days after our breakup.. I am facing the hurt head on and educating myself to be better AS a whole.. what is she thinking or doing? at this point she doesn't even matter to me right now. but we will see if her relationship will work for the long run

Hey it been 6 months now . I got him out of the anger stage . We where married for 26 years . If i call him he will talk . He told me he is having fun , taking time for him now . He said he has moved on but hugs me when he see me now and reached over and kissed me on the cheek . Talks about building a house but its not with me .
