Brand new to your channel via this video! Hello!❤
Michaels this year, our first of all, to feel energized and refreshed after having baby number three a year ago now! I had a tough postpartum and really struggled with my energy for a long time. Through exercise and diet changes, this is already underway!… this will contribute the most to my style I believe. For a few years, I’ve been trying out different things, and finding that I just have felt so stuffy, limited, and restricted trying to go after the more tailored, “effortless” Pinterest styles. They are not effortless! And they are not relaxed. Not only did I feel like I was kind of drowning in clothes, but the styles were limiting my more active lifestyle. So I am experimenting now with more truly relaxed styles, silhouettes, and what makes me feel like I can just pop outside for a walk compared to just sitting and looking pretty, I am doing a bit of the opposite though, and that I needed to clear out my wardrobe of all the pieces that don’t feel good on me by giving them a go for a day or two to decide how I feel in them. I haven’t actually Decluttered these items, but I have removed them into bins in my garage as a quarantine.
I am so excited to follow along with you!

Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out 😊 Will you do monthly/quarterly updates on how it's going?
My style goals for 2025 are in no particular order:
    1. I want to FEEL amazing in my wardrobe - focusing on how I feel and not the opinions of others.
    2. I want to build a long lasting wardrobe with quality pieces I love.
    3. I want to focus on adding sophisticated touches through jewellery, footwear and material in order to create a casual chic outfit.
    4. I want to up my style game at home and work on having my style reflecting my style words (classic, relaxed, sophisticated). I will work on finding pieces that are both practical, comfortable and express my style.
    5. I want to focus on adding variety through texture while still staying true to my style uniform - and this way avoiding duplicates.
    6. I want to pay attention to not just buying for one season, but having the clothes fit my lifestyle.
    7. I want to play around with my outfits in order to make them fit my style words.
    8. I want to be intentional about what I am adding to my wardrobe and only add 20 new pieces.
I will also allow for adjustment though out the year - life happens and there has to be room for growth and development 😊

Hi! I recommended to you the Everlane Hourglass jean to you for a previous video, which you seemed to like. I have another recommendation for you…since you mentioned the 90’s, I would highly recommend the Levi’s 90’s Ankle Jean. I recently purchased a pair for myself and they are literally my favorite pair that I wear constantly. They have even overtaken my beloved Everlane jeans! The weight of the denim is nice…not too rigid, but not too light. They are a mid rise 100% cotton jean with a button fly. Very cool 90s silhouette. They also have a full length version of the jean, but since you are petite, I would recommend the ankle length version. As far as fit, I found them true to size for me, but some have found them to run large. I would attribute this to an individual’s hip to waist ratio. I have a slight problem with waist gap, but my hip to waist ratio is not as pronounced as yours (your waist is tiny 😊). You may try purchasing your current size and then one size down. These jeans are relaxed in the hip and thigh. They are not as cinched in at the waist as the Hourglass jean because they are meant to have a bit of a slouch. If you find a pair that fits you at the widest part of your body and the waist is just a smidge too big, I would take them in to a tailor to get them taken in. For reference…I wear a 25 in Everlane jeans and I bought a 25 in these. I am a slight hourglass shape in that I am straighter up and down than you, but I do have a problem with waist gap in jeans. My inner thighs makes it sometimes difficult to fit jeans for me. I am also petite. Oh…I was in my 20’s in the 90’s and these jeans remind me of the jeans I wore back then 😁

I was so happy with my style. Then I got glasses. I dont mind them but it shifts the whole look - just slightly. And I dont really want my style to change yet I have to make some adjustments. And I kind of can't be bothered😊 Like - I was just satisfied. And now I have to adjust. Softness, grace and lighthearteness seems like a good way to go about that. Thanks! And happy new year ❤

I am determined to figure out my summer wardrobe this year. Recently I realized why is it such a conundrum. I don't like how whites and pastels look on me, and almost all worm weather clothes are whites and pastels. So my goal sounds like "summer without white".

I have that issue too! My solution was soft earthtones in linens and raw silk. Hope you find a solution that works for you!

Rag and Bone makes my favorite jeans. I got a couple pairs of featherweight and Miramar during Black Friday / their warehouse sale and I’ll never buy anything else. The Miramar are 3D printed on sweatpants and they look so much like actual jeans my friends ask me if I’m wearing real jeans or the sweatpants now.

I've recently discovered Frame jeans, they are very thin and soft and feel like you are wearing nothing especially when it's hot out there ! Plenty of them on sale on the Outnet. Will not buy any other brand now !
