sorry to be off topic but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Flynn Jeremy I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im waiting for the hacking stuff now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@@DiecastGraveyard I'm doing great Paul. I hope you are also. I've talked to spraygunner a couple times. They're actually going to hook me up with a good little compressor maybe next week. Those guys are definitely out here to help you. I appreciate the heads-up about them.
That purple car was the “one that got away” for me…lost it at a PTA meeting at the school one night as a kid. I lost it that night and the next morning at school some other kid had found it and wouldn’t give it back. Saddest day of my life at 5 years old, but seeing this one being brought back to life and seeing what you just did makes my heart happy cause I can make my own now, thanks to you, Uncle Paulie! I am catching up on your old videos…and there are lots, 😂!!! Thank you!
Brother, thank you so much. That’s very generous of you. If there’s anything in videos, you would like to see or if there is a customer restoration I can do for you, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you again.
Paul this rodger dodger looks amazing. It's so cool I had to watch the video twice. I keep thinking of what a cobalt blue and a purple one would look like side by side. Very nice job.
Hi Paul, I'm kind of a matchbox Superfast guy here in the UK but these old vintage Hotwheels you restore has me hooked you're incredibly talented when it comes to spectraflame and painting a vintage matchbox in this would be great mix of the two classics.
I'll have to keep my eyes open.. I was able to locate the Spoiler Sport Van in mint condition at a reasonable price in an antique shop a few years ago.. And it's now in my collection since I had one of them in my childhood...
I have been waiting for this for a while, I was so stoked to see this video come up. It is one of my most favorite castings Hot Wheels has ever done. You definitely did that thing Justice, it looks absolutely beautiful. Brother you are a restoring God.
oh man is that ever great looking. I love the fact you went to cap wheels. A great improvement both visually and for speed, well yeah for speed :) Beautiful looking car. Love the spectraflame paint.
After you have painted the body and applied the decals, do you wipe the body down with anything before you clear it? Couldnt there be contaminants from handling the body after paint that may fisheye the clear?
Fantastic job indeed Paul but those flames on that beautiful paint job you did. I know you did it as a restoration for a friend, but l think it woukd've looked better without them. Great job otherwise 👍
never was a fan of these over the top imaginary rides. It was actually a shame to cover up most of the paint with those silly decals. Your work is fantastic, even though I don't care for the model itself, so don't get that wrong. I just don't think this one really needed to be restored, frankly I would have either parted it out or tossed it out, that's how much I think of these weird ones.
Quite similar thinking to mine. While this was obviously someone's "favourite" and the choice is down to them and Paul, I would rather have seen it restored *without* the decals, just a nice, simple paint job. Taking it a step farther, it would have been nice to reinstate the hood, getting rid of that silly-looking block. Having said that, it's certainly an improvement from where it started out.
@@2H80vids heck yeah, Do your remember what they called Zingers? They were really over the top models half the time they had monsters driving these tiny cars with motors that were bigger than the car. That's what this one reminds me of.
@@tootall5559 I never actually saw a Zinger. Seen a few on RUclips and wasn't impressed. HW have a lot to answer for; it was to try and copy *them* that Matchbox changed to Superfast - the beginning of the end. There are a few excellent "fantasy cars" out there but this isn't one of them. Don't get me wrong, a very tidy paint job but the usualquotes apply here: silk purses, turds getting polished etc. Talking of monsters, one car I *did* rather like was Keith's(Outlaw Speed Shop) "Rat Fink" build with the smoking tyres. That one *did* work !!
Wow that looked really awesome, perfect color choice. that was truly brought back from the dead.
That was as perfect a restore as I've ever seen. Wonderful job!
Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Greg

@Flynn Jeremy it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Louie Dustin happy to help xD
I'm so used to seeing this car in its original color had to rewind and take a second look at the before lol Amazing transformation, great job 👍
Awesome restoration 👍
That purple color looks great on this, especially with the decals.
Remember to rub out that moisture.
A really great episode tonight! Enjoyed!
From a wreck to a beauty!
Cheers
I have two Roger Dodgers I'm gonna fix up. I love what you did with this one. Kudos, Paul 👏
Again, another beautiful job Paul. Took a piece of charcoal and made it to diamond.Thank you so much for your videos. Stay safe and healthy.

Paul it looks absolutely amazing. The cap style Redlines really makes a huge difference. Think it's the most beautiful Rodger Dodger I've ever seen 🍻
Wow, love that purple. Great paint job and what a contrast from before and after. I Love It.

Nice restoration and paint job 👌
Awesome restoration Paul. Love the finishing results of the Rodger Dodger. 👍
Yowza! That's one sexy makeover. That paint turned out amazing for as rough as the body started.
Great job even if you changed the color. One of my favorite hot wheels. I enjoy your videos. Thanks.👍
Thanks!

What a transformation, you have mad skills!
Nice shiny paint job!!
Looks great! I think it looks better in the Spectra-Flame paint. Thanks!
Nice job on the small fine details too!!
Nice
One of my all time favorite Hot Wheels... Had one in my childhood but unfortunately it's long gone..
While finding an original on the net might be a bit pricey. Finding maybe the 30th anniversary might fit the bill!

Cool restoration!
I've got one of these still from the 70s. But it's in great condition for a 40+ year old car
Thank You for entertaining!
Great job there Paul and love to see you do the Rodger Dodger 2.0 with that kind of paint.
Nice finish!

Man that came out awesome! I'm gonna get some of that gauzy
love it
I know it's a restoration but the decals take away from a classy car.

Any Tips on restoring HW Flying Colors plastic chrome base?
Are you using the Horrible Freight buffing wheels?
I like the paint but not the decals. I know is the original decals
Wit white interior it can sell for 3000$
