    Works great on tools, it's much more sticky than regular WD 40 and lasts a long time. Hard to find and a little expensive but...

    Can I coat the exterior of the motor with it? Motors get hot.

      According to the SDS, the flash point of this stuff is 860 degrees F (460 degrees C). So you'd have to do the math yourself from there.

    I just called wd40 and a representative told me the formula (which is secret) has never changed.

    Why isnt this available in the UK ?
    Is it really just a silicone spray ?

      Surprisingly, according to the SDS, this product contains no silicone.

    Can we use this on brake rotors ?

    • @SergeantExtreme

      Honestly? Using this stuff on brake rotors is overkill. Your run-of-the-mill Brake Rotor Grease should be sufficient.

    Fluid Film

    • @SergeantExtreme
      @SergeantExtreme Год назад

      Yeah, Fluid Film is cheaper and much easier to find. But what makes Fluid Film a superior product to me is the bulk offerings. While this WD-40 Corrosion Inhibitor is ONLY offer in the spray can, Fluid Film is offered up to a 55 Gallon drum. I personally buy the 5 gallon drum and spray the underside of my car with it. Works great.
