can you add your own digitized files and use them ?
It sure can. As long as your digitized files are made with embroidery software. This machine takes .DST files.
Does this machine automatically cut jump threads?

It does cut the stitches for you and each time it stops to change colors. Now tiny jump stitches between letters, I believe it only cuts if your embroidery file has that programmed to do so.
