Hi a few tips from a tea lover here (I am not a pro by any means though) 1. Don't use that much loose leaf tea per cup - check for what's the right amount to use if you are not sure 2. Most teas can be infused multiple times (especially white, oolong green - sometimes people go as far as 8 infusions of the same herbs with these, the flavor of flavored black teas does change as most of the flavored bits are gone after the first 1-2 infusions) 3. Whittard of Chelsea has some nice advent options - tea, coffee and hot chocolate (their hot chocolates are amazing, I love some of their teas as well, and I don't drink coffee so I cannot tell you about it), several other companies also have nice advent options, but Whittard and Fortnum and Mason have really glamorous holiday collections and release limited (seasonal) teas this time of the year
I purchased this Advent calendar and can’t wait to get it and try out everything. I’m a tea drinker and have purchased David’s tea in the past but this my first Advent calendar. Thank you so much for your in depth review of each tea. I’m excited for the holidays!!!
I just ordered this for my mom and her husband! They've really gotten into having a cup of caffeine free tea before bed. I think this is going to be a really fun thing for them to enjoy together. I wouldn't have ever known this existed if you hadn't of posted this video, so thank you!!
Those are usually 2 servings per tin 😊 David’s tea also sells the superfine tea pouches for you to put your tea in, and dispose when done. Super fine mesh so you don’t get all that in your water
I love your advent calendar videos!! Few seasons ago, I've purchased a tea sampler from Davids tea and that also had those mini tins. I mistakenly used the entire content of the tin to make a single cup of tea. I read the instructions later and it said I am supposed to add 1 - 2 tea spoons to 16 oz of water. Lol. Idk now big your Nespresso mug is or if their instructions changed but I thought I'd share because your tea looks strong.
Omg LOL it was so strong! Thank you, yes I learned right away but I was able to get 3 more cups from the first tin and I’ve used the correct serving sizes since then 😂🙏🏽
This has to be one of the best Advent Calendars iv seen this year! I love Tea and this is just so boojie! I'm gonna have to see if I can get this in England 🇬🇧 for sure! My favourite is the Caremal one! Thanks hun, Take care, Love Tia 💘
Valerian root can be beneficial and often used abroad, not super popular in America. Could help with anxiety and sleep, but as a pharmacist I feel compelled to mention it could have interactions with medications some people might take so I'd be considerate if you take meds routinely or ingest valerian for long periods of time. Some countries are obsessed with it, to almost a weird place...like I've seen it serums and moisturizers...no idea if that'll work per se but, who knows LOL anyways, it's been used for forever mostly in herbal medicine. Enjoy! :)
Omg.I love this. I wanted to order it sooo bad. But hubby said I gotta save for Christmas , My favoriteare Chia .& .loose teas are my favorite ever..ty merry Christmas
Omg I wish this shipped outside North America! I am planning to get my Mum a tea calendar, but the ones I have found are tea bags and not loose leaf - she'll still like it, but the loose leaf is so much nicer
The Tea world is a whole luxury market you are about to fall in love with. I have been enjoying herbal caffeine free tea for a long time, and for christmas I get 3 Lbs. of my favorite loose tea, and it is expensive, but so worth it. Cheers to your new addiction!
This video single-handedly convinced me to get this calendar! These flavors all sound soooo good! I haven’t really found any tea replacements since Teavana went under, but I’m excited to try this!
Sadly Teavana doesn’t exist anymore (they sell some boxed teas at the grocery store though) I also have the Teavana infuser (I have 3 actually lol) I collect Teavana items whenever I see them at second hand shops as it was my favorite tea store
Love this advent calendar! I am also a coffee drinker yet trying to get on the tea train. I plan to pick this one up. On another note, I bought the Dior 30 Montaigne small calendar - I have way too much make up & skincare to sink my teeth into the large Dior one but I must say packaging was beautiful.
If you live in CA you should check out the tea house's around Seal Beach and surrounding areas. Make it a ladies day out and enjoy the menu they have where you get to enjoy a variety of tea's with a side order of finger sandwiches🍵🌞 -Mercy(sorry for the name confusion I am on my dad's phone at the moment) P.S. If you live outside of CA look for a local tea house in your area🤗
Glad you didn’t have to drink all 24 days of tea like you ate all 24 days of candies!😅 Love all of your advent calendar videos. I love advent calendars!! Will you consider making a video on how you store all your boxes from luxury purchase and these beautiful advent calendars? I want to keep all my boxes, but having a hard time figuring out the best way to store/display them.
You wanna feel real fancy and want to try a delicious tea that smells equally as heavenly. Then go online and buy yourself The Marie Antoinette it's so delicious😋🍵 the tea is made in France and it cost $30 plus tax/shipping but it's honestly worth it so give it a shot💃 -Mercy(sorry for the name confusion I am on my dad's phone at the moment)
I THINK I read the other day each tin is meant for two drinks, so you’re supposed to use 1/2 the tin & the other 1/2 for a second drink, otherwise it might be really strong.
@@AHeatedMess If you get into loose leaf teas, you can reuse the tins for when you travel to bring your favs. I also use them to "gift" samples for friends/family who want to taste a flavor.
So far these teas sound interesting and wants make me to try them out..i dont really like tea...but again not available in philippines..i just noticed all this time im not subscribe yet! 😅😅😅 hit subscribed now!!
Nice vid. But you need to put the lid on for a better effect. That's how the pro do it. And don't steep it more than 3 mins. Doing it too long will release the bitter taste. That is why you have the cap to separate the water and leaves and put it aside. When you're done with first cup, repeat.
It all looks & sounds good except the valerian. Valerian root smells like sweaty gym socks. My grandma drank valerian tea , without sugar, at bedtime occasionally. You can't put sugar in it. No more than 8 oz of water. I couldn't stand to be around it.
What’s your favorite tea?
apple tea
Mint tea
Lyons gold blend Irish tea, the best💚🍀
Some random German cherry marzipan tea I found on Amazon once - so good
Chai Tea is delicious!!! But I also like fruit teas. Theyre all so delicious 🤧

OMG those teas look delicious 🤤
They’re so good 🥰
Apple is used a base to make It sweeter. It is a little trick to avoid using sugar.

Love your nails. 💅
Moms know best 🙏🏽🥰
I’m drinking more tea because my mom told me to😂
Great in depth look at this calendar. Looks like such good quality!
Could you consider reviewing the Guerlain advent calendar for 2021?
Yes if I get it I’ll review it on my channel 🤗
I ordered this advent calendar. I have the teavana infuser. Maybe there is an advent calendar for teavana
Sadly Teavana doesn’t exist anymore (they sell some boxed teas at the grocery store though) I also have the Teavana infuser (I have 3 actually lol) I collect Teavana items whenever I see them at second hand shops as it was my favorite tea store
Every tea has a different texture, different colors, so cool. It also looks like asian jams.
Will they do the sale again? I usually drink green tea, but the flavors in the calendar seem delicious.
i would love this calender
Ohhhhhh I LOVE Davids Tea!! Sadly I bought a Breville Espresso machine so I RARELY drink tea anymore but Davids Tea is so great.
Espresso and tea go hand in hand 🥰
Love your videos!!! Those Diptyque candles are so beautiful!!!
Love this advent calendar! I am also a coffee drinker yet trying to get on the tea train. I plan to pick this one up. Honestly I feel so *fancy* now 🫖😏
Love love love your videos! More advent calendar videos please! Also i just purchased Davids Tea for the first time ever :)

I got the Godiva one! I’ll include it in my advent calendar ranking video🥰
Nice advent calendar.
No one:
Me watching the candles in the background: 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Not me hypnotizing viewers 😏

Love this Tea Advent Calendar 💖💞💫
It looks so interesting. I want to buy it
I was pleasantly surprised 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing this. This is an amazing gift idea for myself and others 😍
Love tea need to get this tfs
I have a newfound appreciation for tea 🥰
I THINK I read the other day each tin is meant for two drinks, so you’re supposed to use 1/2 the tin & the other 1/2 for a second drink, otherwise it might be really strong.
Yes I learned the hard way 🥴 I get about 3-4 cups per tin 🥰
@@AHeatedMess Even better! 🤗
Love this calendar, the only downside is the nice tins that I don’t know what to do with them afterwards. Such a waste to not to reuse them.
They could be reused for spices maybe? Glitter for arts and crafts? I’ll try to think of more uses 🤗
@@AHeatedMess also travel tins for jewelry, pills, or snacks like trail mix! they're also the perfect size for facial cotton pads
@@AHeatedMess If you get into loose leaf teas, you can reuse the tins for when you travel to bring your favs. I also use them to "gift" samples for friends/family who want to taste a flavor.
The SA told me its for 2 servings each canister 😬 so only put half of the contents each time
Yes lol I eventually made 4 cups from the tin 🤗
💖👑👑💖👏👏👏👏👏xx om gosh this looks yummy i think am going to get this calendar love it very fancy xx
Thanks for watching Sharon 🥰
Since the teas look so strong and decadent, I bet you could get away with just using half the tin per use, getting two uses out of each tea tin 😁 🍵 🫖
U make even tea advent calendars so interesting. Wish I could buy this and the sugarfina one u showed but I’m in 🇦🇺😭
Usually you can get away with 1 tsp of tea per cup of water.
Have you tried a wine advent calendar?
Omg each one of thosre tins is 2 16 0z/500mL mugs - your kidneys are going to love you 😆😅😂🤣💀👻
Lol I quickly corrected my error 🤪 Each tin makes about 3-4 cups for me ☕️
So far these teas sound interesting and wants make me to try them out..i dont really like tea...but again not available in philippines..i just noticed all this time im not subscribe yet! 😅😅😅 hit subscribed now!!
