Equipment wise I’d say get whatever you can afford and whatever feels comfortable, I’d recommend going to a guitar shop and trying out a few guitars if you aren’t sure how to play, you could always ask the people there to help pick out your instrument, but once you have your guitar definitely learn the basics first and start out slow! Learn basic chords and scales and play your favorite songs slow and don’t give up! Its definitely tough in the beginning but it’s worth it! I’ve been playing for a little over 4 years now and trust me once you get going you’ll notice how fast you improve!
