Lutz is a real-life representation of bosses that have their heads up their butts. They take credit away from their teams that deserve it and throw their teams under the bus when life becomes imperfect.
100% true. There are some bosses in life and business that treat employees less than human because they think above everything and everybody, but also unhappy with themselves because they hate their life. If they don't like their job, just quit or retired and that way it makes everyone happy, but unfortunately bosses don't want to quit or retire because they need some kind of power and control over everyone and without that job title of being a boss or other high authority positions, they feel more weaker and less stronger because of some past experiences like the bosses who were once bullied in high school by other bullies, don't have any friends, feel like an outcast, or can't get a girlfriend or rejected by the girls back in high school or college because they were total losers in the eyes of others. So they become bosses in their careers or lives just so they can feel more powerful than before or get back at the people in the past who bullied and rejected them before as a revenge success tactic like the popular boys who bullied these losers in front of their cool friends and the hot popular girls back in high school days and years and were made fun of because of their looks and body posture etc. So when these bosses return to their high school reunions, everything is different and now all of the sudden the popular athletes and hot pretty girls are out of shape, older, and hate their own life because they had everything handed and the smart nerdy students are successful, rich, and bosses and owners of their companies, especially the boys for example and now those girls, and even boys who once rejected and friendzoned these nerdy guys and girls and grew to be more handsome or beautiful are now treated like royalty and now wanted, but it's too late for them because they wasted their lives away and some of them use their success to flaunt in their faces of the former popular kids because they were bullied and victimized and use their success to feel more powerful above them and get back at them for what they did to them in the past, but don't do that because if you do, then you're no better than them. In other words: You can be confident, but be humble as you can. Don't let your bad past dictate your good future.

He had it coming.
RIP Allen Garfield (Chief Lutz) (1939-2020)
I have to agree! It takes a good actor in order to make you hate him and what we tend to forget is that without them they can't make a scene or movie without them RIP man, Thank-you for your talent!
Rosewood was like:😡 NO YOU SHUT UP GOTDAMMIT!!!!
r.i.p john ashton
Don't try that banana in the tailpipe trick! Gotta love it.
‘
I was 11 years old in 1987 when this movie came out
-
80s were awesome
R.i.p John Ashton aka taggert
"Ted don't over react: please." lol 😆
Sgt Taggart : Because Chief Lutz doesn't have the guts to hear the true from Real Cops
How come Rosewood and Taggart didn't show that level of aggression to the other chief from the first movie like that?
Respect to Sidney for his generous donation
Rest in peace, John Ashton, Officer Taggert!
Lutz, I’ve had just about had it up to here with your abusive attitude! You’re fired!
I Love Eddie's Reactions He's The Best Ever After The "Kiss My Ass and Kiss Mine" Quotes Love It!
The Beverly Hills cop movies are Legendary Can’t wait for Beverly Hills cop 4 😂🚓🌴
Man, Eddie Murphy, John Ashton, and Judge Reinhold are the best trio in this movie.
Yeah, too bad John aston didn't appear in the third film & replaced by detective flint.
I loved when Chief Putz got fired.
Me too he had it come to him for being a jerk 😊❤
I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS LATER! my favorite part, lol
I love that part too by the way - Eddie Murphy shouting out to the mean Police chief Harold Lutz played by Allen Garfield: "I'm gonna kick your ass later!" Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold and John Ashton were all able to stand up to the guy in the end with a little help from the nice and honest mayor.
RIP Allen Garfield who played Lutz
Great acting and an awesome movie. They don't make great movies like this anymore.
Definitely the best of the franchise, and one of the late Tony Scott's best movies.
On 0:52 I agree with Sergeant Taggert Chief Lutz doesn't have what it takes to listen to the truth from a real police officers it goes to show you that Taggert, Rosewood and Foley are the best cops
"Lutz and Biddle...Like Kibbles and Bits but different." - Johnny Wishbone
Such a satisfying end to a movie 😄😂
Certainly was!😅
❤️ the movie another classic 1 miss the 80’s
Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2, were hilarious.
Part 3 and 4
1:01 | If you quickly look at Major's face before the scene cuts, his facial expression is absolutely displeased. That's when you know he had enough of Lutz's bullshit.
U mean the mayor has had it with lutz' abusive attitude.
Rip taggert aka john ashton😢
One of the funniest and most gratifying scenes of movie history.
I love the integrity of Foley, he takes a bribe as part of an investigation but gives the money to charity. Same that he took Billy's vitamins but gave him the cash he got for them. Nice little touches there.
RIP John Ashton
It was a great relief to see Lutz get fired. :-)
I love these old Eddie Murphy movies. They were golden.
0:31 And this is how you stand up to yourself!
In this scene here alone, Rosewood was legitimately pissed, something he never displayed ever in the entire trilogy,
I love Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2
After Lutz got fired, Bogomil was named the new chief of the Beverly Hills Police department
Well, I have to admit that Beverly Hills Cop 2 was my favorite of the three, and this scene where Rosewood would finally shout to Chief Lutz what we've all wanted to hear.
it's my favourite of the 2 just slightly, the 3rd one doesn't exist in my mind.
Axels reaction when Billy starts is priceless🤣
