Keep recording the PTB as Pastor Brian Simmon keeps translating them. He has already begun translating the OT it suppose to come out soon . I asked Holy Spirit about TPT. He said "I prefer the KJV and NKJV". So to 'test the spirit' I asked another friend to pray on this. She was told the the same and when she pressed in was told "it's off and not accurate."
🤔…but there have been those who have said the opposite about this translation. Are you partial Paul to reading the KJV or NKJV? Maybe translations are there for certain people at their various stages in their spiritual walks with Jesus? This is very interesting…this translation has brought me nearer to Jesus, as other translations have. Thank you for sharing Paul. I value your comment.

I understand what you mean by test the spirit...the Lord seems to say that this translation for me personally, is an ok one. In fact that are a few translations that He has approved of for me. He did say he didn't want me to get caught up in too many translations, but just have about 3-4 to refer to. Paul? What other ways can one test the spirit? I mean, I know you asked your other Christian friend, but what other ways can you know that God is speaking to you? @@Lovecrazedgurl I go by what the word says. Myself and my friend both hold the office of the Profit. Even so, there is always the chance of deception. So we follow the word to then check the spirit. For both her and myself we both were getting the "check in the spirit" over TPT. So we both separately asked Holy Spirit. I have been visiting Bethel Redding since 2010. I have nothing personal against the church, except differences in some doctrine. My friend travels to Heaven and meets with Jesus often. He told her there is no perfect church. "They are all off in one way or another." So l don't attack any Christian church because of some differences. You could see me in a Catholic or Orthodox Church some days as with Protestant. They all think they are the correct Church. I say follow the leading of Holy Spirit to find your home. Because Bethel honors Jesus and Holy Spirit in the way they do there is much manifestation of Holy Spirit and Jesus there. I was sitting at a picnic bench outside Bethel Church in February 2011 when Jesus appeared to me. He was to my right in a wheel chair. I went over to Him not realizing who He was. He told me He could not walk because of a war injury. I asked Him if I could pray for Him. He said yes so I held His hands and began to pray. It was half way through the prayer when Holy Spirit sent an electrical shock up my spine and said "This is Jesus". I turned, opened my eyes and was nose to nose with Him. I could see the blue fire in His eyes. Needless to say it was a life changing event. Do your own research. Look up TPT on youtube. Pastor Mike Winger has some fair commentary on TPT and Brian Simmons. Again, I love Bethel, but I have to disagree with them on TPT. Jesus Christ is Sovereign. Why did He appear to me? I said to a new acquaintance one day. "The greatest desire of my life is to meet Jesus Christ in person so I can tell Him how much I love Him. The person then said to me "you are a bit immature". So if it is true for you, I suggest you say the same thing. Be immature like a child. Ask to go visit Heaven, and to meet Jesus. The peace of God thru Jesus Christ be with you and all who seek Him.
@Paul K Wow, Paul... it's nice to know someone so open about their experiences with Jesus. I have had many with Him, but I do not talk about it because people seem to think I am crazy. What you said about being a prophet, yet having the potential of being deceived says to me you are a humble soul and amplifies your credibility. When in doubt, I also check the Word of God against my spiritual experience and I am learning not to relish in my spiritual experience, because of the potential for deception as you said. I just wondered if there was another way to "check" you know? But what you've said is consistent with what I've been doing to "check," so thank you for the positive reinforcement. I am glad to hear what Jesus said to your friend about the Earthly Churches, that they are all different and no one has it all right. Jesus has told me this as well. I love learning from all the denominations, actually, and I do not like arguing about doctrine because we are all learning. I've heard things about Bethel that aren't good and honestly I do not know much about the Church except there are signs and wonders. But, I don't like exposing other Church's flaws unless it is necessary and while doing so, I don't like defaming the souls of the preachers who may very well have gotten into deception, just as any of us could. I was drawn to Brian Simmons because of the experiences he had with Jesus in Heaven. I read TPT and it just awakened the love of God in me. I do not know, dear brother Paul...I've heard of Pastor Mike Winger and I know of what he taught about TPT although I never listened extensively to it, and again I've heard of Bethel, but I've not been led to become influenced by them. Among my favorite is the passion translation, Wuest, Phillips, NASB, HCSB, message, NLT. Also sometimes the Bible in Basic English; it really depends in what chapter I'm reading. My favorite for Galatians and Song of Songs is the passion translation. Thanks for posting this for me to listen to. I am very grateful.
When you follow along reading the passion bible whilst listening to this video you will find that the narrator Alissa Catron leaves whole versus out and say's something else entirely and many times leaves out words or adds words that are not in the text. This can change the meaning of the word and that is very dangerous. Check it out for yourself. This person is watering down this translation and making it say something that the bible doesn't say. Don't be fooled by the soft voice and gentle spirit. Love.

Hebrews well-translated as God's word should be is a blessing. Editorialized and poorly paraphrased for the NAR and Word of Faith, it's something else. Which is what TPT is; most certainly NOT a translation and a very poor and editorialized (crafted to fit a specific errant doctrine that scripture otherwise does not support) paraphrase. Take time to learn about Brian Simmons. What he has produced is not the word of God.
