Do you know a person could get great benefits from the wisdom saying in the Bible, and if they lived by those verse, they could have a very happy and productive life. EG., Luke 14:28-30: 28. " For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. "So pay attention to the wisdom verses, and try to live by them and they will serve you well,

NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:

When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

I used to love listening to Brother Scourby’s Bible readings as I drifted off to sleep. I would let them play through the night, so that the Word of God could enter my mind even though I was sleeping. But with this new format, commercials keep interrupting the Holy Word of God… And I can no longer enjoy listening as I go off to sleep. Also, the commercials come right in the middle of a passage, so that the train of thought is interrupted. God would not want this to happen with His Word. Please consider allowing a commercial only at the beginning...

I hear so many people try using the exuse about not liking the KJV that its to hard to understand the old english text,but i say to them that if they heard Mr. Scorby read the KJV that they wpuld find a new love for the scripture. I grave his readings of tbe Holy Scripture. And it in fact hiis readings have been a great lnspiration in reviving my love for the LORD and His WORD. Amen

We can't look at the scripture with carnal eye's it is spirit we have to see it through spiritual eye's
Revelation 12:9. Did you know God has a plan? His weekly and annual Sabbaths spell out His plan. Most people saying they are christians don't know what these Sabbaths are let alone what they mean. Revelation 20 discusses two resurrections of people. The Annual Sabbaths show these Resurrections and the events leading up to them. Jesus said if the scriptures are veiled they are veiled to those who perish. These people will be in the second resurrection .

Studies have shown that when you read something, it communicated to the brain differently that when you hear it. When you can both read and hear at the same time, the understanding, comprehension and remembrance is boosted and increased. So yes it does help immensely.

My first thought when I was looking for my usual Good Hope upload was “oh no YT why?” This is however quite good with the verses as it amplifies my study and is a running reminder that it is the Bible. I love the Old Testament as I get older because it shows me the nature of God, not just “God is love” but the full scope. No I can’t grasp it all but I have a lifetime, well a lot less, to try and learn.

A SHORT PROPHETIC WORD, about how you, as ONE, can be a part in the fulfillment of PROPHECY today. Please read the following key verses relating to the Prophecy of Jesus in John 17.
In Mark 16:15, Jesus said this: “Go ye into all the WORLD, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (that’s EVERY ONE) Two Thousand years ago, to carry out Jesus's request, it had to be done in person, by walking or riding a donkey. However, today it can be done from the comfort of your home, using your mobile device.
The relevant Prophecy is found in the 26 verses in John 17. The entire chapter is Jesus' final prayer to God, just before being crucified. In that prayer Jesus asked God to do specific things for those who would follow, and they include the ONES following Jesus today.
In John 17:21, Jesus asked God: “That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the WORLD may believe that thou hast sent me." To be clear the them are the followers of Christ today. Jesus asked God four times in John 17: 11-21-22-23, to make them one. In verse 23, Jesus asked God: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made PERFECT IN ONE and that the world may know that thou hast sent me”.
PERFECT is a high bar, begging the question, would Jesus ask God for something impossible to accomplish? I think not, yet, the Prophecy in John 17, as of today, has not been fulfilled. Could this be the time for its fulfillment? Many believe so. If so then how?
For the how, we need only to look to big Tech. RUclips, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others, have created vast amazing platforms that carry digital videos and audios to billions. Thank you for sharing this!!! My vision isn’t what it used to be so being able to listen to God’s word is truly a blessing!! I’m 54 and still haven’t read the entire Bible. For that, I’m ashamed, as people my age have probably read it multiple times. I ask God to help me understand His Word. I pray that He instills His Word into my heart so that I may be a light in this world for Him. I was saved many years ago but backslid after my husband passed and then I lost my only son. Everyone has had loss and hard times and I know that’s no reason to backslide. I was so angry and hurt, but still, I know God always comes first! It was Him that carried me through all the storms in my life. I give God ALL the praise and glory and it is God that I love best, first, and more than anything or anyone in my life! He’s performed miracles on me twice in a year!!! I am sooo grateful and I want to do His will. I want to be a good servant for Him and I want you to know that this channel is a great blessing!!! I cannot thank you enough!! I thank God for good people like you that upload God’s word in audio!! Are you still love listening to God's word without the commercials. I still love God's word but I don't want to hear these commercials. I used to go to sleep to this but now I can't because of the commercials.
Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Second, there is no business model in the world established on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear every so often to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything

Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:

Many words have been changed/modernized. I loved the original readings of the KJV.

Not sure what your reading and hearing, but it;s not the Scourby Bible Narration of the King James Bible. Scourby was the first to read the King James Bible in the 1950's and no words have been changed. Rather than saying many words have been changed, just give me an example of a few and I can comment om that. Making a statement that many words have been changed is just wrong and not true, and truth is important. Jesus said KNOW THE TRUTH and the truth will make you free. What you said is not true about the Scourby Bible reading and I challenge you to back up your words with proof by providing specific examples, rather than making a false allegation with no proof. In the years I have been involved with the Scourby Bible Recordings, this is the first false allegation that "many words have been changed and monernized". ONCE AGAIN TO BE PERFECTLY CLEAR YOUR STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE.

Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

I’m 62 , I read through the Bible every two years, while studying the other Books of the Bible during the other year, that way it keeps me on a good path! My two favorite Bible versions are The Complete Jewish Study Bible and the IRS version! But I still read the King James Bible also! But I never fail to lean something new every time I open the Bible!

A SHORT PROPHETIC WORD, about how you, as ONE, can be a part in the fulfillment of PROPHECY today.
Please read the following key verses relating to the Prophecy of Jesus in John 17. In Mark 16:15, Jesus said this: “Go ye into all the WORLD, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (that’s EVERY ONE) Two Thousand years ago, to carry out Jesus's request, it had to be done in person, by walking or riding a donkey. However, today it can be done from the comfort of your home, using your mobile device.
The relevant Prophecy is found in the 26 verses in John 17. The entire chapter is Jesus' final prayer to God, just before being crucified. In that prayer Jesus asked God to do specific things for those who would follow, that included the ONES following Jesus today.
In John 17:21, Jesus asked God: “That they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the WORLD may believe that thou hast sent me."
To be clear the them are the followers of Christ today. Jesus asked God four times in John 17: 11-21-22-23, to make them one. In verse 23, Jesus asked God: “I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made PERFECT IN ONE and that the world may know that thou hast sent me”.
PERFECT is a high bar, begging the question, would Jesus ask God for something impossible to accomplish? I think not, yet, the Prophecy in John 17, as of today, has not been fulfilled. Could this be the time for its fulfillment? Many believe so. If so then how?
For the how, we need only to look to big Tech. RUclips, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others, have created vast digital platforms that carry digital videos and audios to billions. NEW: Alexander Scourby reads the Apocrypha. Some have been critical of its publishing and those who are, can continue to hear the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation read by Alexander Scourby.
Historical Apocrypha facts. The word Apocrypha simply means "Hidden. The Apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible at the end of the Old Testament and positioned between the Old and New Testament. It also contained maps and genealogies. The apocrypha was a part of the King James Bible for 274 years until being removed in the year 1885.
It's not certain why the apocrypha was taken out of the king James Bible in 1885. Some conjecture, and it was taken out by the printers, who wanted to save some money on the publishing of the King James Bible.
The truth is the original 1611 King James Version contained the Deuterocanonical books. Just as these books the Protestants call the "Apocrypha" Books were in Martin Luther's Translation and all of the Earlier Protestant English Translations of the Bible which Predated the 1611 KJV. This should not come as a surprise when one considers that right inside the front cover the KJV says That it was:
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is TRUTH: John 17:17.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in TRUTH. John 4:24
When he, the Spirit of TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all TRUTH. John 16:13

Frankly, we think the four most Important books in the King, James Bible are the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These represent the new testament Covenant, which God sent his son Jesus Christ to establish between God the Father and his people. To do that Jesus would have to submit himself to be the sacrificial lamb of God on a Cross on a lonely hill at Golgotha outside of Jerusalem. Frankly, we think the four most Important books in the King, James Bible are the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These represent the new testament Covenant, which God sent his son Jesus Christ to establish between God the Father and his people. To do that Jesus would have to submit himself to be the sacrificial lamb of God on a Cross on a lonely hill at Golgotha outside of Jerusalem. Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.
Here is what a user M.W. wrote as a comment: “I have RUclips premium, it's $10 a month. I never see a commercial. I don't pay for cable, I just use RUclips if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.”
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything

This is content that you are not paying for. It’s expensive to put content on RUclips because we have to continually maintain it. It’s like TV, you get free programming but there are TV commercials. I think you can stop the commercial after 5 seconds and they only run every 30 minutes or so. The other alternative it paying a subscription fee for 9.95 per month to get the content with no commercials.

This is what people don't understand, how wonderful and loving and super intelligent our God is all intelligence that is is in him science math everything! So to whoever said, about how big we think we are with technology, everything belongs to God our Father. What went on in heaven between God and Lucifer, was that God the owner, gave Lucifer knowledge of all the things that we know now and it took him hundreds of years to bring it to the computer age, but he only has what he stole from God! Read Revelation 2:9 and 3:9. Talmud and Zohar but not Old Testament is what modern ones believe in.
Same problem as the apostles: they were looking for a kingdom on earth, not heaven. They wanted to get out from under Roman rule and the double-taxation from supporting Rome & the Temple. This is the Messiah they looked for. Jesus Christ was only a threat to the established religious authority and the rule of Rome in that He called for repentance, not sedition. People want earthly blessings, not holiness. We are mostly concerned about the sin of others, not our own. I want YOU to repent, but not me. We ALL put the nails into the Cross. As much as sin creates conflict in the world, few preach about it. Jesus Christ brought not only a new paradigm, but He said He was God in the flesh. On so many fronts, Jesus Christ was hard to take. John 3:19-20

Not just Jews, but Christian's need to heed the words as well. Christ was the second chance. How many chances do you think we are going to get! Isaiah 49:6 proves the lost tribes are in Christianity and have already been redeemed. Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the the nations, that thou mayest be my salvation (Christianity) unto the ends of the earth.
Isaiah 61:9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.”

Justin, Thank you for your comments about adverts and we can understand where you’re coming from. Let me say the following: First, RUclips Selects the ads for the videos, normally they are synergistic with the content and they can be skipped after 5 seconds.

I don't pay for cable, I just use RUclips if I want to watch something, or listen to radio. I love the blessing of this Scourby channel, especially overnight and when I'm doing housework.”
There is no business model in the world based on giving away goods and services. FREE programming is on TV, but ads appear to pay for that programing. If there are no ads, then a subscription fee is involved. We all pay monthly subscriptions, to NETFLIX, Amazon Prime, HBO, etc. for content. It takes time and money creating Channel content as well as maintaining the Channel, it’s not FREE. We wish we could play the Bible Recordings FREE on RUclips, however, the reality of life is that it takes money to do anything
