Warning: I'm gonna explain an idea I have for a remix or future song, so, long comment incoming...
I can hear a potential remix with a heavy heavy guitar playing simple power chords drowned out by reverb building up to a heavy drop with the guitar becoming upfront accompanied by more intense vocals. Then after the drop, go back to the reverbed guitar and chill vocals w/ a lead guitar following the vocal melody in the background for the end.
