thats the thing about queen you probably have heard them in films, but didnt know it was them..they have been is so many films tv series.. its just how powerful they are
Funny you mentioned Michael Jackson. The story goes that Queen wasn't going to release this song. But Freddie was friends with Michael and he played the tune for him. Michael insisted they release it as a single. Ended up being their biggest worldwide hit.
Good comment. It's seems like I know every top 40 Queen song I just didn't know that I know the song. I think maybe in the 70s being gay got Freddie discriminated against so they never got the full level of due that they deserved, just a thought.
This song was not going to be released as a single until Michael Jackson heard it. He and Freddie were good friends and MJ convinced Queen to release it as a single. It became Queen's biggest hit worldwide.
Always listen the studio versions first though, even if they sound great live. Thanks for your reaction bruh! "Eagles - Hotel California live 1977" would be awesome!
+1 to this, live is interesting, but these guys were wizards of the studio with attention to every detail. Beautiful harmonies, layered guitars, stuff you cannot get in live performances. Studio versions are essential. Then get the live experience.
You do realise you've just contradicted your own advice? "Always listen to the studio versions first though, even if they sound great live... Hotel California live 1977 would be awesome!" lol ;) :)
Yes,I agree 100% ALWAYS listen to the studio versions of songs first before any live performance. The studio versions of songs are usually the definitive statement of what the band/artist were trying to achieve. It's also good to let the newbies experience the songs the same way most of us originally experienced them which is through the STUDIO recordings.THEN they could go and listen to how the songs were reinterpreted in a live setting.
With Queen you should always go live first. The two where the vide is a must is radio gags (but again live is better, but the video make it make more sense), and I want to break free, where the video is great, and was banned off MTV USA in its day.
Interesting you said Michael Jackson. This was supposed to be a back side of a single and Michael Jackson who was friends with Freddie Mercury talked them into release this as a single and ended up being one of their biggest hits!
Keep being yourself. You being real is why I like your channel. Great song & reaction. Shout out to "Small Soldiers"... I couldn't believe it when you played that clip! SWEET!!✌🏼💖🎶
If I could offer a word of advice, Queen is best live. If you can find a live version of any song you want to listen to of theirs, it's always better IMO. Also Freddie is the ultimate frontman when it comes to live performances.
John Deacon wrote this song but I think you are referring to the riff that John came up with for their other song 'Under Pressure'.That's the riff that Vanilla Ice stole.

not saying to act nonchalant but whether you know it or not alot of people make fake reactions . If its a good song yeah you can react but overly reacting isnt what im about . Ive seen reactions and its not even that serious sometimes like pink floyd is a good group and somebody went crazy over a song that wasnt even that popular and people in the comments even said hes overreacting to the song cause it wasnt even their best work or close to it . i just cant be fake for views or subs thats all im saying

Queen's first movie soundtrack album is from the movie Flash Gordon. The No. 1 hit from the movie is called Flash. The album also went to No. 1.
queen flash, prince of universe
Princes of the Universe - love the interaction between Christopher Lambert and Freddie Mercury.

If it sounds like Michael Jackson, it's because Queen inspired Jackson....

John Deacon came up from the riff. Vanilla Ice were sued for using the riff.
