The whole route is based on trust and faith. At first, byleth says that Claude's smile is kind, but his eyes did not reflect the same; and claude himself later reveals that his only intention was to take advantage of byleth to achieve his goals. The entire route we see claude questioning reah and the church, seeking to find answers to what was happening, but he always kept the faith. Not in a god or in the church, but in byleth. Throughout our adventure, claude learned to see us as his companion, to the point that he placed all his faith in us, his allies. Everything in the route revolves around that idea, from claude being the representative of an alliance, instead of a kingdom or an empire, to when due to his friendship with other characters, he can increase his military power before facing edelgard. Hell, his main goal was literally described on the last scene ("Yet we have the strenght to scale the walls between us" That literally is his goal, break the "walls" between fodlan´s people and the rest of the world, to built a more united and sincere world. I don't know how original or revolutionary it is, or how superior or inferior it is to the other routes (I am just going on my second route, claude was the first), but definitely Claude's route is very well built and it is unfair to summarize it in " power of friendship "
honestly, the entire "friendship and togetherness" was really what Claude wanted, but in this scenario, he was using it as a cheap distraction so Byleth could kill nemesis. Classic claude and his schemes
Claude is the true hero of Fodlan in my opinion. Granted, Byleth did bravely go up against a beast of a zombie. But referring to the Three Houses leaders, Claude was by far the friendliest, his tactics take the safety of others into consideration, and he made sure Byleth would win. It's fitting that the song in the final stage is called "God Shattering Star" because that's how I'd describe Failnaught's arrows. Hell, Failnaught a fitting name for Claude's weapon because that shot was flawless!
That would’ve been so bad ass. Maybe byleth and dimitri do an all out attack like Claude did but not just one attack from each other but a situation where they keep throwing each other at him till he’s defeated.
Considering this is the only path where you actually get to defeat the ones who slither in the Dark, it’s a pretty good ending. Just makes you feel sad for Edie and Dimitri
You take them out in Silver Snow and unknowingly slaughter many of them including their leader in Azure Moon, then Crimson Flower just has them be taken out offscreen.
not entirely , if you romance claude , twsitd and imperial remnants group up and attack the alliance capital and nearly won if not for claude and almyra aid , in all the routes they remain to a different degree except for when you romance jeritza in black eagles which it stats that byleth and him completely destroy all of them.
The point of Three Houses is to show there is no "good ending" it's a very tragic story to begin with as soon as war phase begins. It all comes to whose ideals you agree with. Whether it's through Claude and challenging the perception of nobility and the borders between nations, Dimitri who wants to fix the existing system, or Edelgard tearing it by it's roots and putting her own. They all have their own pros and cons to consider and no one is totally unscathed by the war that consumes Fódlan. Hard to believe we got writing this mature and nuanced considering the last main game before this was Fates.
@Matthew Stratton Neither Dimitri nor Claude threatened their own house members pre-time skip in fact Claude never does it at all, Dimitri on the other hand because of the war had to spend 5 years alone haunted by the dead whilst fighting off Imperial soldiers, its no surprise that he would threaten those he once called friends at that point.
Claude casually rushing in melee against the most powerful swordsman in the history of Fodlan with a bow just to create a distraction is just the most gigachad thing ever

Shoots in the air, jumps down and gets hit and does a couple of 360s. Get Claude for FaZe clan or we riot.
People say Dimitri is best boy, that's wrong. It's clearly Gate Keeper-kun. Then Claude.
These comments lack culture, I loved the speech. It was heartfelt and genuine. When you played Verdant Wind and see Claude's character arc and how he wants to break down barriers and end racism in Fodlan, it means a lot.
Claude let himself get beat on by the king of liberation whilst Naruto running just so he could kill him
Each battle a chance to grow
Le he dado mas de 700 horas a este juego y me sigue encantado, todas sus rutas (aunque claramente esta es la mejor)
How it feels to land a 1% crit
Coming back here after mourning the absolute fuckup that is Golden Wildfire Claude.
Facts
Byleth would have won the last exchange without claude. He was already in the swinging motion, whereas nemesis was still preparing his strike. Byleth would have cut him first
Hey, better be 100% certain of a hit rather than partially certain
@@black-uh1dfTrue!
Cant tell ya how many times i missed an 80% hit only to get hit by a 60% Hit 10% crit.
What is the track that plays during this? It's a variation if fodlan winds but I can't find it anywhere
‘A New Dawn’, it’s a variation of the main theme
*sees Noa and Timotheos Crest stones in the Dark Creator Sword* Huh...well that explains what happened to them I guess.
Funny how it ended with claude's scheme!
Claude and Byleth Vs Lu Bu
What’s the specific arrangement for the edge of Dawn that plays in the back? Amazing soundtrack!!
Here it is ruclips.net/video/4knxsW1mDto/видео.html
Bro imagine if Claude's trickshot hit Byleth instead 💀
True ending is to kill slither.io and friend and this super old man. That's all, and fodlan are living in peace.

Claude: the biggest genius/troll since Bugs Bunny
Honeslty my only complaint is that none of the other faction leaders get a chance to take a crack at Nemesis.
Dimitri vs Nemesis would’ve been awesome to see
