Good idea bro, it really can work great while studying at home. Not feasible while attempting any exam paper if you haven't done the replacement of the nib beforehand and it's risky as well. If the pen stops working smooth one might loose the time and panic ultimately ruining the paper.

This worked. Literally I took two pens. First pen ink was average light and another pen ink was very light. The first pen ink got totally light now I cannot see what I am writing 😂. But the light pen ink got darken 😯😯. Experiment successful!!

This trick works absolutely 💯.
Now one trick from my side: after replacing pen nib your fingers will get some ink, which can not be removed by normal soap. So, you have to use dish soap 🧼🤣🤣🤣

Works for the BiC Crystal, but not for cheap Papermate ballpoint pens. Cheap Papermates have thick white cartridges making it difficult to adapt.

I had to cut the BiC Crystal tip carefully and so that its ink cartridge with the cheap gel pen's tip will slide through perfectly.
I recommend adding some super glue on the implemented gel tip so that the BiC ink won't leak.
Other than that, it writes perfectly and is cheaper than buying a Jetstream.
